As always, an excellent stay at River's Edge. Hilary makes us feel so welcome and really takes extra special care to make us feel welcomed and comfy - thank you! We love bringing our dog here - such great walking outside and the restaurant/bar is fun with some nice food and drink options. Very friendly staff throughout.

This is a really lovely hotel that we've stayed at twice now. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed with a pretty view of the river from our balcony. There are miles of paved walking paths along the river and several good dining options very nearby. The staff is warm and friendly. Parking is easy. We will stay here every time we are in Portland.

We stayed in a king bed with sofa bed, balcony view room. This room was very small, with the sofa bed out you couldn’t move around the bed. The listing states that it can sleep 4 but, it isn’t comfortable. The room was clean and the bathroom was very spacious. There wasn’t much of a view from our room as the trees block your view of the water. The staff were friendly and the parking was easy.

There are miles of paved walking paths along the river and several good dining options very nearby. The staff is warm and friendly. Parking is easy. We will stay here every time we are in Portland.

We selected a suite and disappointed that we had to pay for a cup of coffee. Only two bath towels provided, and that’s not enough for two women when we wash hair and need two each! Only one makeup remover pad, two women need TWO.

Great experience. The balcony rooms are amazing. Sitting on the beautiful river, watching joggers and dog-walkers over a morning cup of coffee is my idea of heaven. The pub offered good burgers and fries and great conversation. It’s a quick walk to ride streetcar to all Ortland has to offer.
