It's great, but the surrounding area is still under construction.

The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin.

Service was excellent.

Excellent facility, but slow service

My sister and I were so appreciative of the staff and how kind and helpful everyone was. We didn’t want to leave! The beds were so comfortable and clean. I slept so well and slept all night the best sleep. Staff was friendly and attentive. I will stay again.

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable rooms. Food terribly overpriced- do NOT get the Breakfast Buffet!!! We waited 35 minutes for a table and then We paid $172 for 2 adults and 2 children, the options were very limited and everything was lukewarm warm! By the time we got back to our table everything but the oatmeal and coffee was COLD. We had to ask our server if we could heat up our plates, cold eggs, cold bacon, cold potatoes….cold waffles. The manager said they had asked the kitchen for a fresh refill for the buffet…..after another 20+ minutes of waiting for that food it finally came out, we could have gone anywhere else and paid less for a hot timely meal….it really ruined our impression of this hotel as it was our 1st time staying.

Very close to the Wharf and to monuments. Parking overnight at the hotel @$85 was an expensive surprise.

Absolutely best birthday so had ever!!! The room was luxurious and fit for a birthday Queen.

New hotel close to the National Mall area, and walkable to Smithsonian museums. Parking at the hotel is very expensive though (approx. $90 per night), so if you're driving there look for alternate parking options nearby.

Excellent service. All the employees have been overly helpful, very nice, and welcoming. I travel a lot and the staff was all A+. Bravo! Close dining options that was walkable. Great room that was very comfortable. Very happy!

On arrival lights didn’t work. Moved to another room next day, couldn’t fault it, view of Jefferson Memorial (as requested) higher floor & fizz, cake & hand made chocolates left in room. Very friendly reception, housekeeping & room service. Excellent breakfast (complimentary on first morning for inconvenience on arrival) delicious & service in all areas exceptional. Thank you Eskadar for looking after us
