There is an extra 30 dollars facility fee per night, including WiFi Gym and etc. I don't like this point. The others are all good.

The hotel was as expected, very clean and your basic room with amenities. We found the staff very pleasant, and the area safe. The location is walking distance from many of Manhattan’s most popular tourist attractions Grand Central Station, Empire State for example. The diner across the street is a great place to start your day off with a good breakfast. The only thing I wished I had done was to speak to the house keeping staff to stop letting the doors slam as they cleaned. Once or twice, sure, but 30-40 times in an hour was way too much annd we couldn’t sleep in. We only said something on the last day, and it was handled immediately, but it shouldn’t have been happening in the first place. We would absolutely stay here again. The noise took nothing from our stay.

The delux room online showed a full Kitchen and when I got in the room it simply had a microwave and small fridge. It was an ok room But I was expecting a room like the photo online

We had an amazing stay for our trip to the US open. Nice quiet neighborhood, good restaurants nearby and good access to Flushing Meadows. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The San Carlos was a clean, quiet hotel located in mid town where we wanted to be. Great bakery and bagel places close by as well as a short walk to a food court and many excellent restaurants

The front desk staff are professional and respond promptly to requests. Surrounding area of the hotel is fine, convenient for services and subway. The queen-bed size room with kitchenette is small, very small considering the photo that is shown as representing this room. The kitchenette is basically an area of about 3 feet wide with tiny microwave, coffee/tea maker with supplies, and a small refrigerator with tiny freezer. The only drawer contains supplies for meals for 2 people. It works but is very basic. Sometimes housekeeping staff replaced used plates, cups, and flatware with clean ones, but one day the staff just left them for me to wash. New coffee pouches were not replaced, body wash was out and not replaced for 3 days, no bath mat for one day, and no one had cleaned under the bed before my arrival - I found used slippers and one sock remained under the bed for my 6-day stay.

The San Carlos never disappoints! Impressive at every level. Location, Staff, and room size. We come to NYC for exploring the city and catch some of the US Open. There’s not a better option for a group of family and friends.

Excellent staff and service. We stayed for 3 weeks, and both the front desk staff, and housekeeping staff were very helpful and took great care of us. Hotel is also close to subway and MTA bus lines. Rockefeller center, and UN building are a few blocks away, and walkable. Overall area seems very safe, even in late evenings and nights.

We dropped our son off a his dorm for college a block away. Plant of good resultants a block from the subway. The Waldorf Astoria lounge up the block is stunning!

We had a wonderful stay at the San Carlos! The suite was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. All of the staff were very professionally, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Metro (U-Bahn) war schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.
