My favorite hotel all the time!!!!

The room is clean and big. The pool is beautiful

We have two families with 2 years olds visited San Diego this Christmas. We arrived at the hotel at Christmas night. The older man at the front desk checked in for us. When he was about to charge the parking fee, I mentioned to him that my friends just checked in and their parking fee was waived. He replied “ that does not usually happen” and took my card. I appreciate that but thought he might be able to explain this in a better way. After that he sent us to a room which is pretty far from the place we checked in. He showed me the map and advised we could drive to there. We were there with suitcases and kids. My friend went back and talked to him again to change the room. Clearly they have rooms in the same building. In general it was a very unpleasant checking in experience. Especially on Christmas Day. By the way, the younger gentleman was much nicer. He said Merry Christmas to us. :)

Ice machine needs to be updated. Good environment, with trees and plants.

We always stay at this hotel and have a fantastic time visit our son at UC San Diego.. However, at this time, the air conditioner was condensing and created super high humidity in the room. I let the staff know, so hopefully they fix it. The location is fantastic. Very nearby is Philz‘s coffee or breakfast.

I thought the room was very clean and so was the property overall. Especially for it being pet friendly. The dislikes were the pillows. They really need updated. I actually slept terrible for that very reason. I also saw a homeless guy with his bike lurking around which I didn’t enjoy.

Great spot! Will stay here again.

The pool and gym are nice added amenities.

The doors to the parking lot were open the whole time allowing others to park and leaving no parking spaces open to the guests. We were then charged $30 a night for parking that we were not able to utilize

The property was beautiful, staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and access to shopping and dining were literally next door - a 2 minute walk.

Check-In was quick and efficient, and Staff are very friendly., Our room had ample spacing with two queen beds for 2 adults and 1 teenager. Amenities included mini fridge, microwave with in room coffee maker. The facility is a short walk to the U.C. San Diego University campus, and shopping.
