Wonderful, would definitely stay here again

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Spacious room with a very cozy robe after a relaxing shower. Would definately recommend and come again. Great location for the Adirondack Rail trail.

Beautiful hotel!

Good hotel but two doesn't have anything. You must drive to Placid Lake area every day to go to restaurant to even see some people in the streets.

I was there to visit a relative in the Saranac Lake hospital. The hotel was an easy commute to the hospital. The room was great. It was nice to walk along the lake and in the town before visiting hours. I didn’t find many places to eat in town, which was a down-side. But the restaurant attached to the hotel was good and convenient.

It looks like the nicest place in town. The room is a bit spartan and hard surfaces everywhere so it's a bit cold and unhomey. Modern I guess. Echoey.

The hotel was very clean and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff were all very friendly. We loved the many areas around the hotel and just outside by the lake to sit and enjoy. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the charge for breakfast. Most hotels offer that same basic continental breakfast at no additional cost.

We were disappointed in the breakfast. An $18 breakfast buffet should be much more than a buffet you can get for free from other hotel chains. Suggestions: omlet station, fresh pasteries and bread. Not wrap up and packaged bread, pasteries and bagels.

Very nice room. Clean and quiet. Had dinner in the restaurant and the continental breakfast in the morning. Would recommend and would stay again. Pretty views of the lake.

We were over charged on check-in, and even after a week to fix the $500 error they did not upon check-out. Had to change rooms mid week, and at midnight, because of the drunk they could do nothing about in the room above us. Unattended small children running amuck at all hours, elevators broken down, etc. it is obvious that this hotel lacks management serious about the service industry. My wife and I are pretty easy going, and enjoyed the town of Lake Saranac, but I would never stay at this hotel ever again.

Booked to bring my family for a quick overnight getaway. I wanted to bring my son swimming for the first time. The pool was broken, called before I arrived to make sure pool was not broken as my other family arrived and informed me of it being broken. I was assured that the pool would be operational, so instead of canceling the booking taking the refund and going to another property I took the word of the hotel. Pool was broken the entire stay. During checkout was informed that since I booked through Expedia that there was nothing they could do try to rectify the situation.
