voco THE DARWIN - ATLANTA MIDTOWN by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We arrived late, but Efrain at the Front Desk was very helpful, welcoming and friendly! We scored parking because of a promotion they were running and even got an upgrade bc of my IHG card. It was a great ending to a very long day of driving!! The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The area was pretty central. We walked and grabbed food at the City Market, which has a wide assortment of food as well as shopping. I recommend staying here if you want to get out of downtown!

Rooms were super small with no amenities (no closet, one drawer, no iron, hair dryer etc). Also noisy near the road.

i paid for breakfast included just for them to give me a card that says complimentary and it was not it only took off $30 from the unseasoned “ food “ they offered

The property was clean and updated. Short of not having a pool, the property was top notch! Staff was polite and accommodating. Would stay again 100%!

The hotel was amazing just the surrounding area was disappointing

Friendly staff and very helpful when asking about whereabouts of places to visit. The hotel was clean and the food was excellent. Love the origami that is given to the adults at check in and can be used for a free adult beverage or a coffee. The kids room was spacious and our kids loved the bunk bed set up.

Great location.

When I booked my stay at Voco the Darwin, I loved the price and the photos of the hotel and the property. I was very pleased to find out that I could park there instead of having to find a parking garage and walking a long distance to get to and from the hotel. I was greeted with smiles from ALL the staff. Everyone there was super amazing and helpful. The bar was a very nice touch. I really enjoyed my food there and the origami things they gave for complimentary champagne or coffee and tea. The lobby and the hotel was so great. I was raving about it to all my friends and family before I even left. The room was so very nice. Comfy beds and the room setup was great. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well. I truly appreciate the staff and I will definitely book again.

I really lied the decor and comfortable beds. Staff were all amazing. They were helpful and accommodating with our room changes and finding a deck of cards for us. I would recommend changing the soap, shampoo etc to one with a lighter more neutral scent. I couldn't use what they had, it smelled so strongly of men's cologne.

It was a good stay, you do have to pay $30 for parking per night…for a non secured parking lot but staff was super nice

Nice place. Easy to get in and out of. Rooms are set up oddly. It’s like they just dropped a restroom, bed, tv and sink in a room and rearranged them randomly. The only bad part is the walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING in the room above, below and next to you. We heard a fight between a couple at 11:30 am and was unable to sleep. We also heard them make up after if you know what I mean. The person next door decided they needed to move heavy objects at 2.30 am. Like large loud abject slamming the floor for almost an hour straight. We won’t be back because it’s not a great place to sleep if there are a lot of noisy people staying.

Staff kind, clean overall with great air quality

Staff friendly. Rooms were clean and cozy. They had great music, a kitchen serving meals.

The room was beautiful and the toiletries were plentiful and smelt lovely. Towels were white and fluffy. The bed was very comfortable.

The rooms were clean but the walls were extremely thin. I could here the vehicles outside and the guest in the room above me. The staff was extremely nice! We were actually closer to downtown then expected.

The Darwin is honestly such a vibe. The place looks amazing, the beds are ridiculously comfortable, and the staff could not have been nicer if they tried. Everyone I came across made me feel welcome and taken care of. The amenities really make you feel like you are staying somewhere special. I just wish the walls were a little more soundproof because I ended up knowing way too much about my neighbor’s late night TV habits. Also a few more food options would have made it perfect because once you are here you really do not want to leave. Overall I had a great stay and I would definitely come back. If they want to make it up to me for the unexpected Netflix marathon I had to join in on, a free night would not hurt.
