This was a beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating. The food was excellent. The roof top pool and bar was outstanding. We loved it so much we extended our stay another 4 days just for this. Everyone says that District 1 is the only place to stay. The La Vela is in District 3 and it’s worth making the change to District 3 just for this stay as you can always get a cheap taxi to District 1 if you want. It’s a great place to stay.

Stay here simply for the rooftop pool which is incredible. The vibe is a bit more younger and party like, especially with the casino in the building, and it was a bit noisy simply because of the volume of people transiting through the hotel at all hours. I wouldn’t stay here if you wanted relaxation. The choice of restaurants and dining onsite was really good. The quality of the steak restaurant surprised us and was good value. Location is good for proximity to airport as well as downtown sights and culture. You can see the hotel and rooms are starting to look a bit tired, but if you can look past that and you want a fun hotel then this will tick a lot of boxes.

The services

This hotel is false advertisement. Not sure where they received their 5 stars rating from. Do not stay here.

The staff is wonderful and the room and property itself is clean. We got the Luxury Deluxe Corner room with was very spacious and had two balconies. Only downside to this property is the walls a thin and you could hear lobby noise, the room next to us and even being in the 22nd floor you could hear the street noise and the music from the bar across the street at night.

Room was quiet, clean and tidy.location was a little bit out from district 1, but an easy and cheap grab ride to locations. Pool was beautiful! Room service was good. Breakfast was good. Service was amazing!

The stay is OK , Rooms and Facilities were just OK not the cleanest one, but the staffs are excellent

The hotel is very nice, the location is district 3 therefore approx 2km walk to district 1.

Absolutely loved staying here, breakfast was amazing, restaurant was amazing, location is great.
