Had a really really good time here at 138 Home. At first your might think its like a cool hostel type place. BUT its nothing like that at all. In fact the minute you step in front and then into the 138 Home area, its as if you are stepping into a kungfu movie set! The restaurant area is what you step into with tables looking towards the street. The rooms were large, cold and comfortable. Did I mention theres an excellent rooftop on the 5th floor with views to the green park that is part of the Reunification Plaza. Its going to be hard to find a better location, as the hotel is a short stroll to cafes, Pasteur Street and nice park, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Postal Office and Saigon Opera House, all very beautiful buildings to see amongst other things. I would definitely recommend the place and would love to stay there again!

Drainage in bathroom not good, smells bad. Sound isolation not good, hear clearly the sound of TV room next door, and walking noise of lobby, making sleeping at night very hard. Breakfast included but breakfast voucher was not given to me, even when I asked for. They said take the room first then voucher would be brought up but never happened. The door is jammed and makes a big noise to close. A chimney for BBQ downstairs is too close to the balcony, makes the room full of grill smells all day. The location is convenient though.
