Very lovely place

very helpful staff. Comfortable room. Easy access to the M4 and Celtic Manor golf courses. ould do with anothert electric vehicle charging point.

Very child friendly, my daughter was given a dragon finding exercise to do in the lobby and on completion was given a slushy, a big with a water bottle, a gane of snap and sone colouring.

Room was really large and bed was comfy - ground floor room so not able to open the window, felt safe with nice toiletries and tea/coffee Getting served at the bar was difficult, only one person working and although she was aware we were waiting she continued to clean the other area - probably not a good person to serve customers Parking was easy and great that we could charge our electric car Would stay again as great price and close to where we wanted to go for Chepstow race course

Food was good but slightly overpriced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park charges £12 per night. Overall we enjoyed our stay and stayed an extra night more than planned to use the children's facilities at the sister hotel 4 mins drive away.

Absolutely loved it. Beautiful superior room, very comfortable, wish we could have stayed longer.

Good property and nice spacious room.

Issue with room service: Stayed for 2 nights. Left the sign outside the door for cleaning the room in the morning, returned in the evening to find the work not done. The phone in the room was not working to call reception. There was no response on the live web chat. Had to go to reception to ask for towels and shower gel

Nice place to stay as a stay over.

The hotel was absolutely amazing in all its area and the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for making my stay so enjoyable, hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Everything good, check in , room , food all great One issue…a jobsworth at the grill restaurant…empty restaurant at 6.30pm (not a single person there) I walk up and say table for one , he looks at me, looks at his list, sucks his teeth and after a pause says could you come back at 9.30pm! His manner was rude and full of himself rather than explaining there was a part of Yanks in and it would be full in 20 mins. So went to the bar and they were great and had the same food without the ego!

Still waiting for an invoice a week later after numerous enails and still nothing

Bed was close to door/corridor leading to a fair amount of noise when people were going to bed or waking up in the morning. Room was a good size. Roome set up was odd with a small TV on a cabinet to the left of the bed. Check in and check out was slow with only one staff member on the desk. Gym and pool had good facilities with latest technogym equipment. If a pool and extensive gym is not important, I would suggest staying in the Ty Newport next door for a quieter night and a more modern hotel.

Lovely place

We always stay at the coldra great value for the money. Breakfast is amazing great quality.only thing spoilt it was price of parking £12 per night thought a bit expensive but thats inflation for you didnt spoil our experience. Highly recomended well done

Great experience

Overpriced for what it is, didn't realise parking was an extra charge and the room although I was told was an upgrade felt basic

Suite. Carpets were not very clean, as was not the bathroom floor. Bog standard normal pillows. No complimentary water in room. Side lights only in bedroom with only 1 make to turn on and you had to get out of bed to turn it off at wall then back to bed in porch darkness. If you want the curtains open to bring in daylight, you are in clear view of people in the pool (4134) with no inner curtain/ cover! Manager managed to look busy when walking to check out when passing so didn’t have to say good morning and when checking out wasn’t even asked how our stay was - which was a total underwhelming experience especially for the best part of £270 for the night. I would not recommend.
