Holiday Cabin Sleeps 5 Glan Gwna Holiday Park

We were surprised that we had to pay extra for heat in the property by purchasing heat credit. The property had a horrible Mildeu smell, which was present even with the windows open. Inside, it was very tired and very small. There is no way it sleeps five comfortably. The larger bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable with a worn-out foam mattress. It was so painful that I went outside and slept in my car. Additionally, when I woke up, I had beetles crawling on my feet. After we returned home we found ants throughout all our laundry. The bathroom was also tiny. The second bedroom had a single bed with a bunk bed on top, which required two people to sleep in the single bed and one in the bunk bed to accommodate five people. There was no way five people slept there comfortably. We felt so uncomfortable we left after one night of a two-night reservation and drove home. On a positive note the staff in the Holiday park office were very nice and professional. They were very helpful when we initially arrived - the problem was the property is not maintained by the owner.

Our stay was lovely, the cabin is so homely and doesnt feel like your in a cabin, its so cosy at night, decor is lovely. The owners we didnt meet but communication was good. Only criticism would be that there is an obvious problem with mould and a few things that could do with a tweek for example rusty toilet roll holder, chipped bath tub, bathroom floor and behind the toilet gets very wet due to condensation, pots and baking trays were not clean on arrival also struggled to wash up as we couldnt get the emmersion heater to work so had to wash the pots in the bath with the shower. We also noticed quite a few cobwebs and spider in bathroom and we had to move the bed to fit travel cot in, when doing so we found an old sock, crisps, hair grips and a childs toy. Also the electric is on a meter which isnt good when you run out at 9:30pm and nowhere is open to top up 😆 Overall lovely place and would stay again though. Not letting me upload photos for some reason.

Positives was well equipped with everything you would need main bedroom nice except window wouldn’t lock second bedroom not has pictured and wouldn’t suit 4 adults better for family with children has queen bed and single bunk bed in there kitchen good size and well equipped nice decking out side with table chairs front area with table chairs and storage shed and bbq front room and bathroom need tlc but on whole nice place

It was good but only problem with WI Fi
