Welsh Holiday Accomodation

The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee, kettle and fridge but the wardrobe door was blocked from opening by a wonky cupboard door and the inside was really dusty. Good shower and plenty of hot water. The outside is awful -we felt intimidated turning up on the first evening. The front door and windows were filthy and had old faded paper signs with check-in instructions...this could so easily be cleaned up and made inviting. Overall it was ok but with a little attention to detail could be so much better.

Feminine used sanitary products filled the bathroom bin. Half eaten takeaway fish and chips in the fridge. Washing machine has a full load of bedding in it. There was quite a few opened jars, tubs and dry cooking ingredients in the fridge and cupboard. The room is comfortably furnished, could do with another arm chair. The cooker, microwave, toaster are all clean and work well. The bed was freshly made, the mattress a little too soft for me (personal preference). There is a Morrisons local literally within 2 minutes walk and limited free parking with in 100 metres. I would stay again for the price, but I'd be prepared for a little clean up. Please don't be put off by my negative comments.

One night stay and room was well presented and clean and tidy. Comfortable nights sleep and a good experience.

Didnt like anything about this property. There was no way to get in at advised 5pm time ,hadnt received any key instructions. Kitchen was disgusting it was so dirty. We booked a deluxe room what we got was nothing like deluxe. The bed cover was screwed up like somebody had been sleeping on it for a week already. The cups were so filthy we had to go and buy our own. Waste of money

It was the worst place we have booked so far. First, there’s no parking so don’t fall for free parking that’s mentioned on the advert. The bed was not at all comfortable, so much so that we had to book another hotel and move at 10 pm. The floor felt very damp with condensation. Not really impressed with this accommodation. We were given the room beside the kitchen so could hear the washing machine noise clearly. When asked the host about it, she didn’t even understand what I was saying to her. Really hard to communicate.
