I booked the tour a week ahead of time but when the day came I contacted the tour agent a few hours prior to confirm my arrangement but did not receive a response. Gave them the benefit of the doubt so travelled early from Surabaya to Malang and waited for more than 3 hours for them to pick me up (tried calling and texting both numbers provided in Traveloka but did not receive any responses). Was really disappointed as not only i had wasted half a day (because of this i was unable to book other similar tours since they leave early morning), i had to fork out additional money & make last minute arrangements to get a driver to drive me there and was only able to spend 2 hours at Tumpak Sewu. I had to also make a last minute booking for a separate tour to Mount Bromo. This caused a lot of trouble for me because i only had 2 days to spent in Malang so had to rush to make last minute bookings and I did not have a lot of cash so needed to withdraw money since the tours I managed to book last minute only accept cash / transfer.
