This is a great location however the hotel is probably due for an update. Beds were comfortable room was generally clean however hallways were dirty elevator smelled like urine for some reason…

Location was perfect. We did not eat there or use the pool etc. But it is a new hotel right on the waterfront. The staff was great.

This Marriott, although very clean and well kept, clearly shows its age. As a waterfront property we would have expected a view of the water but these are few and must be reserved well in advance. The hotel is right in the boardwalk and so the access to all of the waterfront activities is very convenient. The breakfast was excellent.

Wonderful hotel with a great location!

The hotel rooms were small and older. I was expecting a lot more for the price per night. Would not stay there again.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better and we had a great view of the Halifax Harbour.

Nice location. Very expensive. Must be Bonvoy member to access wifi and signing up after checking in doesn't work. No room service menu, instead a QR code sticker on the desk for a third party website requiring sign up with personal details to order. Might expect this poor service at a cheap hotel. For $1000/night it's a very bad joke.

DON'T USE THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE AN EV. TOTALLY USELESS EV CHARGING SETUP.

ALL BUT ONE EV CHARGING STATION WORKED. VERY USER UNFRIENDLY SETUP UP CHARGE POINT APP. VERY FRUSTRATING TO USE. iF YOU HAVE AN EV DON'T USE THIS HOTEL.

Great place to stay in Halifax.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the gentleman who checked us in but he was phenomenal! He was friendly, kind and very knowledgeable about the many activities in the area. Our room was comfortable, clean and had an excellent view of the harbor. We dined at the hotel restaurant on three occasions and each time it was great. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located on a superb spot on the harbor. There are so many things to do within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The only issue we had was at check in. Our receptionist spoke very softly and the receptionist next to her had a booming voice making it almost impossible to hear.

The restaurant is fantastic, staff are great. Comfortable beds, excellent pillows(subjective, I know), and location of hotel is perfect for walks along the boardwalk and being in close proximity to restaurants and museums. That said, room 285 is located right above a noisy area (loud music) and close enough to the gym that I could hear some of the equipment when in use. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again, but ask for a different room/floor.
