I would like to start by acknowledging Marie at the front desk—she was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. She was welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely empathetic. Her professionalism stood out, and she deserves to be recognized.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about most of the other staff or the overall experience. Prior to our arrival, I received a text asking how the hotel could make our stay more enjoyable and whether we were celebrating anything special. I responded that it was our wedding anniversary.
Day 1 (Room 3519):
• Strong sewer odor in the bathroom
• Sink clogged
• Several lights not working
Marie helped us address these concerns the next day and also assisted with extending our stay by an additional night at a price-matched rate.
September 2nd:
At approximately 7:45 pm, Ivan from the front desk called to inform us that we needed to move because of a burst pipe. We had an 8:00 pm family dinner reservation, but had to quickly pack everything and move rooms. Staff brought us a cart and left, leaving me to push all of our belongings across the property to the front desk.
When I arrived, Ivan explained the plumbing issue again. I asked about the rising heat in the building, and he stated that the air conditioning was also broken. When my wife politely asked if any type of credit could be issued due to the multiple inconveniences, Ivan’s response was, “You don’t have to stay here—you chose to stay here.” This was not only dismis
