We had not stayed at Confederation Place on previous trips to Kingston and were very impressed with the property. The hotel is very clean, staff very courteous and the waterfront location is ideal. The “bento box” breakfast is a great idea, allowing you to dine in the light & bright breakfast room, take it to your room or take it to the park next door. Will definitely stay there again.

Location is great, guest rooms show their age but adequately maintained

Excellent location, nice view of the water, friendly staff. A little awkward at the arrival, not a lot of parking space in front of the hotel. I also find that the hotel needs a bit of TLC.

Check in was super smooth! Great staff. Breakfast was delicious and parking was super easy. Rooms were clean, well maintained and the pool was awesome!

Hotel garage will not fit big trucks or SUVs. Otherwise it was a good stay and close to everything.

-No where to park while checkng in. -If you pay the $25 to park and dont get upper floor, you must take your stuff up some sketchy stairs -Corridors were hot -Front desk not the most welcoming -Common areas not the cleanest -Room cleanliness was ok but no room service on multiple day stay. -Not what we expected for the price

Great location.

Convenient to downtown area. The young woman that checked us in was very helpful about parking and offered back lot behind building (with a fee still) instead of garage parking, we had a truck so it was a tight fit. Rooms were very clean, we had a Lakeview room which was nice. Was a great stay. Would stay again

Breakfast should have Continental choices..

Not clean. Dust on bathroom door. Hair on pillows. Carpet stained. No rack for shampoo and soap above bath tub. Parking you pay extra Breakfast served in the box not very pleasant

We had a long weekend stay at this hotel. The location right downtown near the water is excellent and having a lakeview room was perfect. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The only drawback is there is no place to sit in the lobby to meet other people.

There was a really weird bathroom door. I don’t know why they decided to go with a sliding door that doesn’t even close all the way, and because of that, there was a gap that was big enough for someone to clearly see what I’m doing in the bathroom. If you’re going to install a sliding door instead of a regular door, at least make sure that the door slides all the way so that there is no gap in between the doorframe and the door itself, otherwise it defeats the while purpose of a door in general. Other than that, the hotel was really nice with a nice view of the city and was in a great spot where it was within walking distance of some of the best stops in Kingston and even the 1000 island tour boats. But please change the bathroom doors. It was really uncomfortable whenever someone in my family had to use the bathroom for its intended purposes.
