We booked a 2-night stay here but checked out after the first night due to poor experience.
From the start, service wasn’t warm or welcoming. At night, the room was extremely dry and worst of all the ceiling began leaking water. The receptionist acknowledged the leak but moving rooms at midnight with kids asleep wasn’t possible. The beds were also uncomfortable and we barely slept.
In the morning, although we were offered to change rooms again, exhausted and disappointed, we decided to go home. Management offered to waive only the parking fee, but refused a refund for the unused night — despite the inconvenience, the leak, and a ruined item of ours. We had booked the suite, above our budget, expecting comfort, which made this even more frustrating.
Overall, guest experience didn’t feel valued.
Pros: the location is excellent, close and walkable to Clifton hill and main attractions, and the breakfast was good.
