When we arrived at the hotel, it seemed like they couldn’t find our reservation. After some time, they informed us that we had been upgraded to a better room. I can honestly say, it felt anything but an upgrade. The room was old and worn down, with no working lights or air conditioning. It gave the impression that the hotel was still in a “soft opening” phase. Everything felt run-down and neglected—except for the lobby and the hotel restaurant where breakfast was served. Speaking of breakfast, it was extremely disappointing considering the price. It was nothing like what was shown in the pictures and far below what one would expect for that kind of rate.
