Room was nice, staff were pleasant and helpful. A bit disappointed the pool and gym were not operating. I feel there should of been a bit of a discount for everything not being available.

There were no amenities there was not even an ice machine. I spent extra for a nicer room and it was not nicer than any other room. The pool was not open. The fitness centre was not open. I wanted an a bathtub as well as a balcony room had neither I am not even sure how it was anything special and why it cost more money. Down the hall there was a Down the hall there was a bunch of free snacks and microwave, etc. Oh, that was only for exclusive members apparently. Absolutely nothing. I’ve stayed there many times before the renovations and personally, I liked it better before. They need to advertise that these things are not open on anywhere you can book. A lady with children in front of us was very upset about the pool as they were checking in. A small message after you book is not helpful.

Room was great! Staff are amazing! you won’t have to leave the hotel, it has a bar/restaurant and a cafe to grab a coffee and snack. It is still under renovation but we weren’t bothered by any noise from that.

Room was immaculate and the staff was lovely. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything all around you. That said, we spoke to the people at the front desk about the noise and they spoke to the loud guests immediately which resolved the noise issue. Price was.very reasonable

The room was good and the staff was good and friendly but I don't like how there's no menu for the resteraunt downstairs. I wish you could've got breakfast delivered to the room. I don't like how the pool and gym isnt complete yet, says would be done by end of January. I don't like how the shower is set up there's no door to close on the all the way so the floor got soaked. And the bathroom door looks nice but it's not practical and can't slide all the way. Wifi is also really bad.

The check in was easy and the young man at tge frobt desk was amazing. Check in was Thursday evening February 5th. The room was modern, clean and newly renovated. Woukd highly recommend to anyone staying in Halifax.

The new renovations are lovely :) stayed twice in the last couple of weeks. Very clean and friendly staff. The only thing I had a problem with was the TV. The remote has a Netflix button (and it’s the only streaming service button on the remote) but you can’t use Netflix. The TV restarts. Had it happen in both rooms. With new Reno’s and smart TVs nowadays, Netflix should be an option!

Specifically booked for the pool and the balcony they didn’t have either and didn’t inform us before check-in that the parking was $30 to get out

Most things were good but parking was a nightmare . The elevator for the parking garage was broken with no signage . After parking and finally getting to the hotel the door to the parade is locked Monday-Friday . The closest way to the car was a 20 minute walk and alot of stairs . Warning should’ve been given for this before emails were sent out stating where the hotel parking was.

Beautiful renovated room. Loved our room view, comfortable new king bed. Definitely our new hotel stay for our future visits

Was not informed that the renevations were going on when i booked on hotel.com We stayed 4 days hoping to enjoy the pool free breakfast and they were all closed our autistic daughter loves water and that was our plan to enjoy

The room was nice, but the heater was too loud we had to shut it off, also the amenities were closed due to renovations. The staff was friendly and location was great.

The front desk staff was excellent. There was a mix up with our rooms and it was dealt with pleasantly and efficiently. Rooms are clean, restaurant was excellent - the service was as well.
