Rude inconsiderate staff. I was EMAILED not called but EMAILED at 7pm, that they had to relocate me to a sister hotel down the street because of a maintenance issue in my double bed room. Instead of accommodating me at their hotel, they sent me to another hotel that did no notify me that I’d be placed on a single bed room. So when I got to the room and it was not a double bed that I booked and paid for, I headed back to the front desk to sort it out. That’s when they told me all of their double bed rooms had been all booked up for a week! Why would I be sent to a hotel that could not accommodate what I booked and paid for? Because the staff and management at Marriott San Bernardo could care less about my reservation since I booked from Expedia (a third party) and these reservations “are not priority” It was a mess. I obviously needed somewhere to sleep that night so guess where I ended up? ON THE FLOOR! As I had 4 people in my party. Mind you, I was dealing with all of this at 10pm. The only response I kept getting from staff was “there’s nothing we can do for you.” It was the worse hotel experience I’ve had by far.
