The property had so much potential, but it was very dated

Good location, rooms are very clean & comfortable.

Staff was helpful. Nice view of the marina. Daughter and I had to share a bed because the mattress on the second bed was terrible. You could could feel the springs. Hair dryer would not work.

Positives: 2 chairs, balcony, harbor view, fairly comfortable bed, and looks to be a new carpet. Negatives: despite sounding like a 757 taking off, the fan does NOTHING in the bathroom to dispell the steam/condensation. Chairs show wear. Directions to use tv were "interesting." Breakfast-meh. Not "anyone's actual fault, but checkin was over 90 minutes-not enough cleaners to get rooms done on time, one person doing check in, no printer ink to prink paperwork.

Amazing view, great room and good coffee. I would stay here again just for the view.

Booked and paid for this room in April 2025. Arrived in September about 9 pm and was told they had overbooked and we had no room. Poor Service, offered no solution. Had to scramble to find another hotel.

Went to check in at 7:40 pm. Desk person says the room is not ready because 4 housekeepers did not come to work. I was told to go out to eat dinner and come back. I returned 1 hour later and the clerk ignore that I was there. After 40 minutes, told other customers that had similar reservations that there is no room. I asked her about her guaranteeing me a roommate more than an 1:30 hours ago. She did not respond to my question. Then she recommended that I check around at nearby hotel This is at 9:40 PM. I’m am furious. I was told that it was expedia’ fault for overbooking. I need to talk to Expedia people for the inconvenience that had experienced. My wife and I slept in the car in the rest area. Please tell how you are going make this better? I plan to call the hotel manager and corporate to complain. I will also need the find who that Expedia person who overbooked my reservation. There were at least 5 customers including myself who were without a place to sleep

Pulled into the property to see that it didn’t really look like the pics that were shown on the website but outside looks can be deceiving right? Well, these looks spelled it out perfectly. Parked and went to the lobby to find a line out the door where a singular young guy was “working” the check in except didn’t really seem like he knew what he was doing. Was extremely rude not only to the guests he was checking in and other people in the lobby but someone on the phone as well (who was trying to cancel their reservation for obvious reasons). Kept yawning obnoxiously loud and literally said, “This is what happens when you party too hard and don’t get any sleep”. My girlfriend and I just turned and walked out of the door. I will be trying to get my money back because we didn’t even make it to the counter to try and get checked in. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Check in was bad. Staff very bad. Dirty and old.

Checkin time was at 2 and after listening to the staff argue for a few minutes we were asked to go to dinner for an hoir or 2 I told them they had told us to do that and we are now coming back...we got in about 6:30

Room was large, checkin girl was new and had quite a line but handled it well.

Two positives: 1) the location/view; and 2) the family room set up with a bunk bed + queen. Three negatives: 1) it is an old Red Lion that badly needs renovated; 2) the staff was not even remotely professional (the one exception was the ladies who staffed the desk in the AM)! The guy who checked us in felt the need to call us "bruh" and tell us about how he had been deprived of smoke breaks all while his young daughter was running around. The staff cleaning rooms wore baggy street clothes that looked like they just rolled out of bed and walked around with their music blaring first thing in the morning! And our biggest complaint is they had a sign that said they only clean the rooms every three days (which is such a cop out) but when our room didn't get cleaned and I complained, the same guy mentioned above got really defensive and told me that they don't clean rooms at all anymore unless you request it! First of all that's NOT what the sign said and when did this become a thing? Must be yet another stupid law Oregon passed. I did have to chuckle though that the sign was "edited" in a non-professional way when I checked out. Definitely do not recommend.

Check in was a disaster. We booked with travel friends, called to say we’d be checking in about 9pm, got here about that time to chaos in the lobby. They’re short staffed, didn’t have rooms ready, kept having to go to the back to talk to the manager, said they couldn’t help bc we booked w Expedia. Our friends didn’t even get their room- were told the maids called out and they didn’t have rooms avail. The front desk employee asked us if our friends could “hang out on our couch in our room”…when pressed for how long, it was already 5 hours past the time their room should have been ready, the worker said she didn’t know then later said they wouldn’t have a room for them at all. Our room has mold stains around the sink, filthy carpet, and the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. Our friends had to find the last room at another hotel. All are sold out or we would have moved too.

Pretty dated. Room was quiet for a busy weekend. Good for a passing through need a place to sleep.

Loved the view off the deck. We watched the boats all day and then the fishermen returning with their Steelheads & Chinook Salmon. Sea lions to watch too. Walkable to pretty much anything and lots of food trucks. Older place could use updating, but affordable and great for our needs.

Marina views are good but smelly. Room is just OK.

They served a hearty breakfast every day. Rooms were good size and the balcony was a plus to watch the boats

I can't believe how much we paid to stay here. It's a motel, and a grungy one at that.

1980's rundown and bad maintenance.

Great location and friendly staff. Don’t trust the photos though. Property seems like it once was a wonderful place, but had not been maintained or updated in many years. Balcony offered a beautiful view of the harbor but was infested with spiders and very rundown. Bed was clean and comfortable but carpets were disgusting and covered in stains. Toilet had not been brushed and had leftover ?? In the bowl. Grout in bathroom had brown ??? Near the toilet. The kid of room where you need to wear shoes inside and feel the need to shower as soon as you get home. And breakfast was a joke, just some cereal and toast. I’d pass on this place and stay somewhere that doesn’t offer the great location and balcony but that’s clean. Not worth the price tag to stay here!
