It was an excellent stay, didn’t have one problem and will be coming back again soon, just one thing was I wish they accepted uni discounts for the Starbucks but other than that 5/5 stay

Check in was okay, however received 2 confirmation emails with different room numbers. Told reception but they said couldnt happen. Got a room on basement floor, room itself relatively basic (106),stained carpet several areas (brown stains!) Floor was noisy and clearly used to house groups of revellers. 3 4 and 5am wake up calls two out of three nights from loud neighbours, banging doors and poor insulation. Room door also looked like it had been forced open and was difficult to close properly. Facilities are great pool and gym and breakfast but experience was poor. Pub and grill tables all reserved some 2hrs in advance.. maybe need a lesson in managing turnover. To cap it all it i was sent an invoice for another room complete with the guests name and details including address. Told reception staff and they werent very helpful. I was concerned my details had gone to the other guest but they assured me not…. Well if assurance is “i dont know what happended”. GDPR and data breach risk seems an alien concept. Stayed 3 nights, got 1 night rest. Not exactly the break we were looking for.

Room was great, facilities and pool and spa area well run and enjoyable. Bar and grill was good, however service at the bar could be improved if customers were told to stop queuing like it's still covid times. Recommended

Hotel was lovely !!! Clean and good pool facilities , beds were also very comfortable! Only fault was served mouldy fries in helter skelter , would not put me of visiting hotel again !!! Would go else where for tea though

Pool was great, room was outdated. Few dirty marks on sink and dirty spoons. Kept awake most of the night loud slamming of doors, screaming and also a clicking noise outside of our room. Didn’t sleep.

Fab weekend would recommend ,room great pool facilities tried it all outdoor pool indoor pool jaccusi steam room sauna and hot tub tried the all.

Given an adjoining room, noise through the doorway unacceptable. I might as well have been in the room with my neighbours - who were not loud. Complained and got a very poor response. There is a need to 'opt in" to getting your room cleaned, very odd, very penny pinching. Bizarre deduction of £10, when I questioned it I was spoken to like I was an idiot, I received no explanation just told to ignore it as it was obviously correct!! Receptionist was rude and came across as not knowing what they were doing. Still waiting a response after I complained about this. Weird attitudes in the gym, if you use facilities outside of the weights room/cardio room the personal trainers come sniffing about - one even took photographs of equipment I had moved! Might be innocent but seemed very odd!! This used to be a good hotel but now has become a bit 'Ryan Air' whilst charging premium prices. Bar and grill has improved though.

The lockers in the gym, i do not want to be naked in front of other men, the staff were friendly, the room was clean although would like more staches etc, would be better if they were more directions to each places like swimming etc but overall pretty good

Comfortable room, clean and a lot of amenities to use in the hotel. I also had a minor issue with the shower which was very promptly rectified after being reported, so thank you for the excellent service and stay

This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in firstly the pool well if u want eyes at the end of it don't go in quoted by a staff member you can get high off the chlorine that's correct because my eyes were on fire and came out in rashes as my skin is very sensitive so yh give the pool a miss and there was a dirty tampon on the floor in the changing room and hair on the floor and if you want to get through to reception because of noisey neighbours at night you can't even though I was told there was a big African guy who's the supervisor that should have taken my calls but instead was in the back room that was very dangerous I'm a single mum what if there was an emergency or something so I had to knock on the neighbours doors and tell them myself very loud music and very loud people shouting and when u have a child that's been woken up it's not great I couldn't leave her in the room while I knocked on either so I had to take my girl with me which I hated the man should have picked up the least I expect is security one thing that was outstanding was the bed was amazing and the food at the pub and grill was spot on! The other thing that wasn't good there's no playground for children no nothing for children except the eye watering pool so that wasn't great at all beware your children will be utterly bored never coming again thank you
