Room was clean.. but things needed to be fixed. A hole in the frame of the tub, covered by the bath mat. When cleaners are off, they need to put more face clothes and towels in room. Some people do not reuse face clothes and towels. So it would be nice to have fresh everyday. Plus when there is four people in the room you need more then one roll of toilet paper. Breakfast staff, you couldn't ask for better, they went above and beyond. One could not eat fried food, so Monday morning they made scrambled eggs. So appreciated. Overall, we are very appreciative of that we had a room that worked for us of access the outside and inside easy... The staff on the front desk, were very polite and friendly. Always with a smile. Yes, we would stay there again. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately this was a disappointing stay. The room’s smell was foul. This was reported to the staff and Expedia support. Without luck we were stuck in the room as there were no alternatives. The hotel maintenance person was super nice and did his best to help. Sprayed the carpets with a couple of solvents and brought in an air purification system. Nothing worked and we left with a terrible stay. Based on our experience, we would never stay here or recommend this place to anyone.

A great pet friendly room with easy access to the outside for our pet. Staff were great, dining room was good and it was convenient to explore the Fogo Twillingate area.

The property is very dated. I was there with two women who would not walk on the floor without something on their feet. Sheets and bathroom were clean. We were sequestered to an outbuilding where we had to go outside to access breakfast. Not sure how that would be in the winter. We were planning a nice meal for Sunday night but when the ladies saw the ambience of the hotel dining room while we were at breakfast we decided to go elsewhere. Mystic at Sinbad’s was amazing. Will probably stay at Sinbad’s mext time. The food at breakfast for both mornings was OK but minimal choices. I was surprised based on ratings I had read. Improvements needed!!

Good vaue for money, Coffee machine didn’t work properly, but I didn’t even report it. Nice restaurant on premises, ample parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived 4 hrs early, but was given a room immediately. Will use again

Stayed one night on our way across the island. While the main lobby seems clean and somewhat updated, the rest of this hotel is extremely dated with a need for some major renovations. The room was damp, the mattress was very worn, the carpet almost felt wet under our feet. I understand there are limited places to stay in Gander and prices are obviously increased I would assume bc of Come from Away. This was SO overpriced and I would recommend finding somewhere else to spend your money. We certainly won't be staying her again. The only positive I can say is the staff was friendly.
