As the price value was pretty okay for what they provided, a clean room with a reasonable breakfast. Located next to the highway to the West as I remember. Except the 2 reception staffs morning and late afternoon were a bit impolite and impatient. I complained that they offered me a very inconvenient room that hard to carry my big luggage through a very hallway. The reception female staff for check in answered me kind of stupid reply. Another lady in the morning, that I asked when returned back the deposit to my account, she was told it would back to my credit card. I have never used my credit card there? She continued to say my debit card was a credit card in same. I have no time to continue this silly conversation. Please offer the reception staffs more training about how to communicate with the customers and their knowledge too. Thanks.

The staff were very nice but the property is very run down.

Only good thing about this property was the front desk staff. The condition of the hotel, the pool area, the breakfast area, and our room was gross. Whoever runs this hotel and charging $230/night should be ashamed. There is zero value to anyone staying here. It’s very apparent that not one dollar (or even sweat equity) has gone back into the property since 1985. Just a terrible experience.

The room was really gross. There were what looked like blood smears on parts of the wall, substances spilled on the night stand, carpet was wet in a spot, tub hadn’t been fully cleaned, fruit flies coming out of the sink drain. The hallway smelled really bad and we stayed in room 343. The bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way due to the sink counter in the way. At 3 am for an hour someone was knocking very loudly on a door across the hall, we went to call the front desk on the phone in the room but no dial tone. Called on our personal phones and they came finally around 4:30am. The room was labelled no smoking but still smelled like smoke and I got a migraine from it. This hotel has gone downhill fast. I booked the “business room” hoping for a decent stay and it was bad. They even stock narcan in the room for you. If you’re looking for a cheaper stay then great but it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend.

We were told when we arrived to check in that the elevator wasn’t working and we could relocate to a main floor room. The bed would be smaller -king to Wueen size!! However, the bed was not even a Queen-it was a double—and very uncomfortable. There was no table so our take out dinner needed to be eaten on the bed. The windows were broken and held together with tuck tape, the roof leaked with water dripping through the ceiling.... esepcially in the lobby. I was charged twice on my credit card for my stay and despite being weeks later and gauranteed a refund I have not yet received one.

Tiny room, no chair for the “desk”,bathroom fixtures from the 70’s, mold oozing out of the triple layers of laid on caulking. Don’t ever stay here, ever. The staff were however very pleasant, much like the stewards on the final night of the Titanic, I’m sure.

It's not really that bad.

This Wyndham property was a disgrace. Check in was fine but $150 deposit - really? Inside the room the AC unit is under the desk table - had to crawl under with a flashlight to make adjustment. We are seniors. Elevator was out of order but not informed. The king mattress was worst imaginable - could feel the spring wires under. Tub area has gross dirt or mold. No exhaust fan. Hallways look worn, dirty and tired. The included breakfast was a horrible disgrace. Would not even show my wife. This facility should be closed or offered to homeless. I will be contacting Wyndham myself. Expedia should investigate all Wyndham properties in Thunder Bay. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that's black mold around the shower. Bloody something on wall next to bed. We couldn't get into the room untill 3:30. No place to sit for breakfast due to limited sitting. No working elevator.

Property was in very poor condition and nothing like advertised. First room offered had small basement size window near ceiling and felt like a prison cell. Horrible moldy smell. Staff did arrange different room and tried hard to work with what they had. Understaffed. Rooms not ready and very rundown condition

This hotel leaves a great deal to be desired but it fits the need for a place to lay your head. If you’re looking for pristine cleanliness and ultimate comfort…this is not the place. One bed was smooth and comfortable the other was lumpy. One set of sheets was pure white the other had mystery stains. On quick view of the bathroom it was ‘cleanish’; once in the shower…not to much. Random ‘stuff’ on the walls and ample mold. If you want to sleep in past 6am, stay elsewhere. This is a transient hotel; folks are getting up and hitting the road. In the process; slamming of doors and talking in the hall way. I would possibly stay here again, only because of the price point.

We arrived to see 2 broken windows. We felt uncomfortable and questioned safety in this area of town. Staff assured us that it was safe.

Pool dark and dirty.

Room wasn't ready till 4 but heard washing machine is broken. Taken longer for housekeeping for laundry. Continental breakfast is terrible. For 2 mornings and hardly nothing there for foods. No muffins and it only been 1 hour started. Hardly no fruits. All they serve toast, bagel, apples and orange, boiled eggs. Some cereals, apple and orange juice. Too many cutbacks since May. Been here at least 10 times and less food, equipment breakdown and no replacement as they had pancakes before. This is not acceptable. If you can't keep the stock full then quit serving the continental breakfast
