Belle decouverte de Bordeaux Novotel bien a 75 % Pour 25 % deception

I booked this thinking it was a better option than the Radisson in Bordeaux. I regret not choosing the other hotel. The room was fine, the staff were fine but the overall experience was less than fine. Issues with the room, issues with being charged for drinks that weren’t mine, no ability to buy water (bar closed and no free bottle left in my room on any of the days). I booked this with a discount code but it was still overly expensive for the experience. Better value hotels out there I think. I had fond memories of Novotel travelling to France with my family in the early 90’s. - I probably wouldn’t book again with this chain.

The plus is to be close to the train station and an overground light train station that connects to an all main areas of Bordeaux.

The breakfast was amazing

Personnel très gentil. Proche de la gare. Tramway juste en avant de l hôtel. Pas trop loin du centre à pied.

The staff at the reception and in the restaurant are excellent - very kind, helpful and attentive.

Cet ancien Mercure, est toujours bien situé pour découvrir Bordeaux. Je le conseille, le Tram Tauzia est juste devant. Le quartier est en pleine transformation (fin des travaux : 2026)

Pas de serviettes a mon arrivee . Encadrement du lit poussiéreux. Petit dejeuner tres moyen . Mauvaise organisation, jus d'orange vide , cafe infect . Les portes d'acces au garage ́ne sont pas verrouilee . Etablissement tres moyen.

Camera grande, comoda e confortevole, non abbiamo usufruito della colazione. Personale gentile. Albergo situato nei pressi della stazione, posizione comoda per chi deve utilizzare la stazione, gli autobus, o il noleggio auto, la zona però lasciava un po' a desiderare

Nous avons séjourné plusieurs jours dans cet hôtel et nous trouvons que le petit déjeuner est bon, varié et copieux. Le personnel est agréable, courtois et disponible. La décorartion est jolie. En revanche, l’ascenseur qui fait peur avec les bruits mécaniques et la chaleur élevée (comme si c’était la canicule) dans la chambre malgré une température de 10-15 degrés dehors sont des points négatifs. Aucune solution n’est proposée et nous n’avons pas correctement dormi durant notre séjour avec cette chaleur.

O hotel é antigo, falta alguns reparos. Achei o quarto pequeno para três pessoas, tamanho ideal para apenas duas pessoas. O pessoal que trabalha no hotel é atencioso e educado. A região não é muito boa, o único ponto super positivo é que fica do lado de uma estação de bonde elétrico. O café da manhã é bom, com bastante opções. No geral, um hotel nota 7 pra mim.

The hotel is one tram station or a 7 minutes walk away from the main train station. All major landmarks can be reached by tram or foot. While the rooms look newly renovated at first sight, some parts like the toilets or elevators definetely were not. The towels were of poor quality. Depending on which staff member is sitting at the réception desk, you are either being greeted in a friendly way, or not being looked at at all. The lady who checked us in and out was great, though. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations, as it was not up to date in terms of nutritions and variety.

Bien situé, personnel professionnel et serviable. C’est dommage que le petit déjeune est très simple et manque de la qualité.
