Clean and comfy

After a red-eye from Los Angeles I needed a spot close to the airport and rental cars for my overnight in Brisbane. The View Hotel in Hamilton stood out from the rest. Ideally located looking across two reaches of the Brisbane River, the hotel lives up to its name, so I did myself a favour and booked a view room. Wow, it did not disappoint. I woke with the sun and decided to take a walk along the riverfront path that follows the water for miles. Best of all, the hotel is a short stroll from the River Cat Ferry, the best way to take in Brisbane's amazing scenery, and it will only set you back 50 cents for the ride. Highly recommended.

Great place, close to transport. Staff were lovely. Would have been better with a microwave as we were there for a week.

Really enjoyed my stay here, was travelling for business. Had room service and enjoyed the food, it was fresh and tasty. Convenient location and parking was great too. Comfy bed and I had a great view over the river. Buffet breakfast was good. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Brisbane

Great place to stay but I hate that there isn’t any drinks in the mini bar, not even water.

Breakfast was ok, the bar had no Vermouth which I could not believe but it was a fact. The bartender did a great job creating me a cocktail that was similar without any vermouth.

Evacuated at 2am Sunday morning with no explanation or follow up.

We havw stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are always quiet and comfortable. We recommend this facility to anyone who enjoys comfiest and convenience.

Stay here every time I need to go to the airport for an early flight. Beautiful large comfy rooms. Decent restaurant. Nice bar.

Overall visit was good. Breakfast was great and enjoyed the bar - staff very friendly, calm vibe. Room was lovely but bathroom was not the cleanest - some hair left in bath and skim of soap on the bathroom floor made it slippery even when not wet. Arrived as linen truck was loading/unloading and resulting in blocking of driveway so getting in and unloading luggage was a minor hassle. Comfy bed, good amenities and breakfast staff helpful and friendly.

If you would like to be financially scammed, this is the hotel for you. They couldn't handle basic math regarding the damage deposit and put on false restaurant charges as well. It took 4 interactions for them to give back nearly all of the money. Stay anywhere else, this place isn't worth the headache.
