Hotel currently under going renovations

Massive construction, no internet, difficulty with volume on tv, no swimming pool now, no ice machine, breakfast in a paper bag, only one person at desk. The building should not have been open during construction!!!

The hotel was under construction with no notice to us before booking. We were not able to use the z, hot tub, no blow dryer, and bagged breakfast. My son was there for hockey try outs and were intentionally booking somewhere for the hot tub and a good breakfast.

Staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel under construction so not up to the high standards of before. Looking forward to all there upgrades.will be back.

Apart from construction going on the room was great. Newly renovated and quiet except for one morning when a grinder or sander was used too early in the morning. Anyway staff are great and room excellent.

I got brand new renovated room. Hotel under renovation still… but it worked for me. No complains

Im writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay, which resulted in a highly disappointing and disrupted experience for my family. I had specifically booked a room at this location for a night away with my children, as well as to meet friends. A key reason for choosing your property was the advertised amenities, including a pool, exercise room, and breakfast. Unfortunately, upon arrival after a three-hour drive, we encountered multiple serious issues that were not acceptable for a paying guest. To begin with, the hotel was extremely difficult to locate due to unclear signage, which initially directed us to an unrelated location. Upon finally arriving, we discovered that the hotel was under construction. The interior was filled with a visible cloud of drywall dust and a strong musty odor, creating an uncomfortable and concerning environment.  At check-in, we were informed that the pool and exercise room were both closed, and that breakfast would not be provided as expected but instead offered in a bag. These were key amenities that directly influenced my booking decision and their unavailability was not communicated in advance.  When we entered our room, the issues continued. The bathroom door would not close, and both my son and I began to feel unwell, likely due to the poor air quality caused by the construction dust. At that point, it became clear that the conditions were not suitable for us to stay, and my children expressed that they did not feel comforta

Bagged breakfast because of construction.

The property is currentlu under renovations so not as ood as usual. But I have stayed at this property many many times and it is good clean safe short term stay accomodation. The staff are very helpful

We were never told that the hotel was under construction so the pool and hot tub were not useable as the construction supplies were stored in the pool area. The area for breakfast was sealed off and under construction so there was no “breakfast included” as advertised. Overall, we were very disappointed. Had we of known any of this we would have stayed elsewhere.

Despite Expedia advertising that the pool, hot tub, and dining room were open, we found out on arrival that all were closed due to renovations. The vending machine was also out of order. Worse, the strong paint fumes permeated the entire hotel, including the room. In -14°C we slept with the heat off and windows open to try and minimize the toxic smell. The staff were welcoming and friendly, despite working / breathing in paint fumes. They provided us with a brown bag breakfast in lieu of a continental breakfast. It would have been extremely helpful if Expedia / Quality Inn had advised us of the current conditions in advance.

Should have updated their website regarding their amenities. We booked because of their amenities offered but went there and stayed for 5 days with nothing available because of renovation without informing us when I called. I had to tell staff check your website/Expedia, it is deceiving people

I am really disgutted on my stay and I am blaming Hotel.com and the hotel Quality Inn. No mention on web site there was no pool , no WIFI . One receptionnist said WIFI is OK the other one said not working for 3 days. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom I had to call the reception. No glass in the room. How can you advertise on your site without warning people of these problems. You should refund your customer for force Quality Inn to give a credit .

Pool spa not open even though I called 2 days before to ask if it was! Front desk staff totally incompetent! King bed instead of two queens but sorted out! Hotel under renovations so should be closed till finished and up to par?

The Hotel was partially under construction, which is fine but they were not able to keep an acceptable level of service during this and should have been closed. Many of the advertised facilities were closed like the fitness center, sauna, conference room, elevator and lobby washroom facilities. The pool area was absolutely disgusting with black mold and green algae growing throughout the area. The entire building was dirty and clearly neglected maintenance for many years. The rooms were in terrible shape, our original room had the smoke alarm and heat detectors taped over. We were moved to a different room only to find that all heat detectors were taped over in the hallway of the entire first floor. They staff were very rude to us throughout the entire stay. When we asked for clean towels we were given bath mats and told that was all they had available. The breakfast was terrible. The food that was there was limited and dry foods were stale. They have additional security in the evenings into the night and you are essentially expected to stay in your room with the door closed since there are no other rooms you can congregate in. It felt like an asylum or a prison. I’m not typically one to complain but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If anything local Fire Prevention officer should be notified of how this property is operating.

Everything was clean! Kids had fun in the pool! Staff was friendly and so accommodating!

Staff were friendly and kind. Room was clean, comfortable and plenty of space. There was heated pool and hot tub which was great for exercise and entertainment. Some noice during the day from the construction and renovation which is understandable, but was quiet at night.

The staff wasn't helpful

The staff were amazing I would have to say. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of room to sit down in and lots to choose from. I didn’t know the hotel was under construction when I booked. There was no coffee machine in our room, there was a fan in our bathroom but it didn’t come on, there was no ice machine in the section we were in, the pool was old and wasn’t very warm and the hot tub was cold and that was one of the reasons I booked here. Apparently they are turning into a Hilton so I wouldn’t go back until everything was switched over. Would I recommend this hotel. Not at the moment.
