Fantastic stay for the weekend celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday. Gorgeous hotel. We also used the spa & had massages so would also say this was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Looks good on the eye but overall the rooms are awful

Beautiful location and grounds. Coronation Street on in the bar and the seating made it unsociable and depressing but outside in a sunny day was nice if they had more seating . There is a lack of viable management and that shows in the response to some questions. The tv did not work and there are wires hanging out - this hotel is so close to bing great but is missing some simple touches.

Bathroom very moldy! Definitely not worth the amount we paid. Breakfast was okay! Just a cheap greasy spoon try breakfast though. Spa facilities nice and clean.

I booked a superior room which I paid for the upgrade for. Only to find when we got there had been given to someone else. I needed a shower as I am just getting over an operation and can’t get in a bath which I also put in the original booking as I am disabled. We was not offered the money back but was given a family room as there was no twin beds rooms then left. When I got to the room and plugged my phone in to charge the carpet smelled like someone had urinated on it. The carpet was stained in more than one place the bathroom was damp and needed painting and was definitely not a superior room. Totally disgusted with the whole experience. We paid for breakfast when we arrived. For the next morning. The table we sat at Waz not clean it was sticky. The breakfast was average not really a good experience for what we thought was gonna be a really nice hotel looks a lovely from the outside and when we came to check out wasn’t even asked if we’ve had a nice stay think she knew that we were given a bad room and not got the service or room that we paid for. Over all not a good experience and will not be giving them a good review on other sites either the spar staff was the only good part about it we had to go to them to find out wear our room was because the hotel staff didn’t help us find our room considering we wear 2 disabled ladies trying to find our room alone.

Amazing place, fantastic large room, modern shower-room, excellent breakfast and beautiful garden. Only grip: the Hal carpets could do with a deep clean.

So utterly dissapointed in this hotel.. had been looking at it for a while and decided to finish my holiday here.. wish we had not stayed, the staff are very polite and the evening meal was good quality, tbe selection on the menu was quite restrictive but my selection was excellent.. Breakfast was such a dissapointment for me, I always go for continental, all that was available was a slice of cheese, two slices of salami and there was one croissant left.. no more available..fruit salad was totally dissapointing, chopped apple in fruit juice with a tin of mandarins..... not a continental in my eyes... My shower was close to boiling impossible to cool down, hence no showere facility for us.. The facade of this hotel is beautiful but it lacks investment and the provision for a stay of high quality.. feeling very let down..

I have been staying at Crabwall Manor Hotel approximately once a month since 2014 when I travel for work at Chester. I found the room are very big and comfortable and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Very noisy rooms, too many people accessing the spa facilities at one time and was overcrowded with people fighting for space in the jacuzzi

Overall a great hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were great and breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool was very clean, however the changing rooms need a lot of work, locker doors hanging off and even missing. Around the jacuzzi the panels were broken. Evening meals were very limited menu in my opinion and rather expensive. Overall though a great stay. Just spend a bit of cash please and fix the simple stuff.

Good facilities and really good size room. There were no spare pillows in the room (I don't want to have to ask), no toilet brush in the rest room which is fine if maid service makes a good job of cleaning the toilet; which they didn't. Beginning of mould in shower could have done with a deep clean in bathroom.No air conditioning in rooms really isn't good enough in this day and age. Also used for corporate clients/company retreats/training and they seemed a bit rowdy, need to actively manage this.

The check in process was hard work at the actual hotel. Check in was meant to be from 3pm, but when I asked about our room at 3:45pm I was told it was not ready. I then raised the fact that it was in fact 3:45pm, then suddenly my room was available. The hotel looks dated in a number of areas and the downstairs WC's were not very clean or well stocked with paper towels, etc. Our suite had a number of cobwebs that we observed. The bars range of products was limited and they did not stock pineapple juice 😕 which for someone that does not drink carbonated drinks was quite frustrating! Thr breakfast area seemed to be lacking in staff and the tables were not being cleaned after people had dined, the tables were just cleared and then set for the next person. The coffee being served at the hotel and at breakfast was absolutely dire tasting, and at £3.50 a cup you at least expect it to be drinkable. The only positive is the bed was comfortable.

Upgraded our room at good price. TV not working and found out it was known issue. Said they would substitute it but did not. Room spacious but tired; bathroom massive. Main door handle coming off. One bedside lamp missing. Sink and bath taps leaking. Looks like no masking of mirrors and fittings was done when last painted. Nice garden but that was only accessible once wedding was over. Did not use pool or spa. The poor maintenance, TV issue and tiredness did not ruin stay as such, but were disappointing.

Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely big clean room with a bath and a shower. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice outdoor bar area to sit in when its good weather. Pool, sauna and spa were good but locker rooms were a bit of a let down with broken lockers. Some areas of hotel are showing some signs of wear and tear and need a touch up but the room, bar & restaurant areas were nice and in good condition. We enjoyed staying here and had a good time.
