I really like the aesthetic of the building and rooms were very clean and well kept. Looks like it was recently renovated. I would stay again.

Close to airport and Sidney. A little too dark in the common areas.

Quiet! Despite location near highway it was very quiet and peaceful, great sleep! Breakfast very good, lots of options.

The vibes of this place is great! Warm decor and designs. The quality of breakfast is above average.

We loved the building and the breakfast in the library. Staff was very helpful and the pub was great.

The Waddling Dog is an experience. The room is a large size and is very comfortable. Clean and fresh with classical music on entry was a nice touch. Staff are top notch and the Self parking easy. Breakfast is one of the best in our entire stay. Plenty of choice and fresh with Protein and fruit offered. Waffles etc. The room makes this a good stop the breakfast makes it a GREAT stop.

It was a clean & comfy room, breakfast was great but maintenance is needed for the toilet in #207; feels like it wobbles & may come off the base/wall when you sit down also maybe try to fix the phone message alert system - constantly flashing.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful, even though we couldn't get the T.V. to work, (we are not at all technical). Big bonus being dog friendly. The free breakfast was really nice with waffles, sausages, eggs, muffins and yogurt. And we had an upgrade to a king size bed! We will definately recoment THe Waddling Dog, and we will be back!

I liked the ambiance. Very quaint English Tudor style hotel. Very convenient to Butchart Gardens and the seaside town of Sidney. Breakfast was a bonus with other restaurants close by.
