Location is good. Just about 5 minutes walk from the Bregenz Train Station, and 3 minutes walk to the lake. Outside wall and first floor is currently under re-construction, and won't be finished until the end of June. Staffs are very friendly.

No air conditioning in the room under hot wheather. The guests are making noises till early morning from the floor restaurant.

Hotel prima maar ,s avonds dineren is super duur en ook niet smaakvol. Eén keer Flammkuchen terug gegeven. Het was een halve voor 16 euro en ,‘s ochtends klaar gemaakt.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Bregenz during the opera season and booked a junior suite for around EUR 500 per night – so expectations were high. The location was a highlight – right between the train station and the Bregenz Opera, perfect for attending performances. However, you can’t really see the lake from the room as a park blocks the view. Check-in was mixed – there’s a dedicated desk for ALL loyalty members, but it wasn’t enforced, so we waited in line with everyone else despite having status. The suite itself was large, modern, and spotless, but faced the parking lot with no balcony – not ideal for the price. The biggest surprise was the SPA – not heavily advertised but truly relaxing. We enjoyed the indoor pool and saunas, which were quiet and well-kept. Breakfast was frustrating. A confusing booking system meant several tables were “reserved” but unoccupied while other guests, including us, had to wait. No structured queue made it feel chaotic. Once seated, the buffet was good – fresh fruit and decent variety – but we later discovered there’s a hidden à la carte menu (omelettes, etc.) that’s not offered to all guests. That felt unfair. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some downsides. The price-to-quality ratio was below expectations – I expected more consistency and attention to detail for this level of pricing.

Wir waren am Wochenende beim Hafenfest und haben es genossen, alles zu Fuß machen zu können! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sogar als um 11 Uhr das Frühstück abgeräumt wurde, wurden wir gefragt, ob wir noch etwas brauchen!

Sehr schönes Hotel in einer super Lage direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Uns als Familie hat es sehr gut gefallen. Immer wieder gerne.

Zimmer entsprechen der Beschreibung. Tolles Frühstückbuffet. Das reservieren des Restaurant im voraus hat nicht geklappt... sehr schade.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Große Früchte/Brot/Wurst&Käse Auswahl. Das Festspielhaus ist in Laufnähe. Wir hatten ein Executive Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Größe des Zimmers war gut. Leider waren die kopfkissen etwas zu dick. Wir haben keine Rechnung für die Nebenkosten erhalten, das war sehr schade. Wurde auch nicht zugeschickt.

Idealer Standort wenn man an die Festspiele geht.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Man ist in 2 Gehminuten am See oder am Bahnhof. Auch die Innenstadt ist schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren für fünf Tage im Grand Hotel untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, allerdings ist für zwei Personen wenig Stauraum und ich würde mich über ein paar Kleiderbügel mehr freuen. Für Tagungsgäste allerdings ausreichend Platz, denn diese übernachten ja meistens nur ein bis zwei Tage. Die Frühstücksauswahl war riesig. Wurst, Käse, Obst, alles frisch. Uns mangelte es an nichts. Wir konnten jeden Tag draußen sitzen, was sehr schön war. Nebenbei noch die Proben von den Festspielen hören können. Der Wellness Bereich hat uns gut gefallen. Perfekt zum entspannen nach einer Wanderung oder einer Radtour. Leider wurde vor dem Pool seit unserer Ankunft bis zu unserer Abreise nicht sauber gemacht. Es waren deutliche Schmutzspuren von Straßenschuhen zu erkennen. Hat wohl jemand vergessen, dass man dort Badeschuhe trägt. :-( Alles in allem, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es weiterempfehlen.

There was a cockroach in the wall at the bed on the last day. Not what you expect from this kind of hotel.

Perfect location right next to the train station, the casino and the waterfront. The rooms were as pictured and the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. We were a week before high season so they didn't yet have full restaurant service, but the bar was fine for coffee, drinks and snacks. We'd definitely stay here again.
