The property is nice by the beach and have plenty of walking pathways and nice beach walk, restaurant is nice with good menu and view by the waterfront, the swimming pool is nice specially with kids, the sauna is good.. SPA is never available seems to be always fully booked which is disappointing, it’s pricy for what it is but nice…

The location and property are great, but it mostly ends there. I don’t know if they have new ownership but the place has gone downhill since we were here years ago multiple times. The buildings need a lot of work and repainting, the lawn games are in terrible shape, the grounds need a lot of maintenance (especially the grass by the beach), they didn’t turn over our rooms and just by passed both rooms somehow, there was no conditioner in the shower bottle when we got here, the drywall is wet and coming off the wall, and the fine dining restaurant that used to exist doesn’t seem to anymore. It’s really disappointing to see such an amazing place not be up to the quality that it should be, especially for the price. I doubt we will come again unless they renovate.

The waterfront part of the property was amazing. Best sunsets! We really enjoyed the fire pits and the guys made sure our propane tanks were full. We loved that we were able to bring our cooler down to the patio area. We were disappointed when we didn’t get a waterfront room we thought we had reserved on Expedia. Not sure where the disconnect was, but we were not able to upgrade once we got to the resort and that was the reason we stayed there. Also it was a little offputting to find other people’s belongings in our room. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned as well as one would like and ALL of the garbage cans at the waterfront and patio were overflowing with trash. Read the beginning again. The waterfront and patio area was very cool.!!

Love the raw natural beauty! Breathtaking! Resort was very charming. So many fun activities for families, kids. S'mores, lawn games, pickleball, bikes, movie nights, scavenger hunts etc. Restaurant was super good. Only con- Pool area is a bit outdated.

This is not a good value. The property is worn and prices at the resort are high as, in general, they have a captive audience as there’s very little near by.

Dining is very limited. Staff seemed untrained in customer service. Property seems run down compared to past visits.

The Staff was wonderful. Especially the employees that worked the coffee bar. All the amenities make it very charming. However, the Resort needs some upkeep. The outside paint is peeling horribly. The spa and pool area look old and worn.The common areas feel stark and cold. It was raining much of the weekend but only one fireplace was used and then for only a few hours. Wood molding chipped,broken or missing throughout . Our room was huge but it only had 2 chairs when it could have accommodated a couch and large chair easily. Housekeeping was inadequate. They emptied the garbage and left towels only. They left the dirty coffee cups,did not leave new coffee pods. Did not make beds,clean bathroom floor or vacuum. Nothing wiped down. If this wasn’t a Resort ,I could let it go but a Resort stay should include a real cleaning. Overall, I enjoyed it very much,mostly due to the fantastic staff and the beautiful property. I just feel like there is a lot of untapped potential that is being wasted.
