The Hotel does need renovation to compete with newly build hotel chain. The room size is descend, but the furniture is old and has many scratch. If can do some renovation, I am sure can bring back many more customers.

The hotel had great parking with loads of spaces. The staff were brilliant, particularly the nice lady who checked us in, she was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was perfect and the restaurant and bar were great. All in all, a brilliant hotel, we will be back

Excellent staff, breakfast, bar and light meals. Hotel let down by having very few parking spaces for the disabled and having to pay extra for the privilege. In addition no lifts to the upper floors and TV didn’t work, despite valiant efforts by staff. They tried to change our room but none available.

Vicki at reception was lovely and helped sort my reservation that I made from Hotels.com when checking in. Staff were brilliant and polite, room was great but no air conditioning but we had a fan. Overall exceptional experience and I will be staying again when down south. Good for families.

Lovely place, nice clean rooms and great food. Staff were really nice, helpful and well presented. I’ve added it to my favourites for future stays in the area.

The stag couldn’t do enough for us, they are all exceptional. We were traveli g with 3 young children and staff were so helpful at breakfast. They brought over plastic bowls/plates/cups and offered to help carry hot drinks over while I was carrying a toddler Always so friendly when we passed the reception desk

General maintenance issues as it’s an old hotel, but decorated modern. Good location and friendly staff. Food was good but expensive. Room was a good size, bed comfortable and nice and warm. Better tea and coffee facilities would be nice and better quality loo roll 🙂

Rooms were clean very good. Staff polite, how ever food was below standard. At breakfast fast no bacon no sausages. Dinner was blant

For the price I paid, this hotel was not worth it. While the rooms are spacious, the overall experience was disappointing. The customer service was not the best and did not meet expectations for a hotel in this price range. I was also surprised to be charged for parking even though I am a Hilton Honors member. Given that the hotel is outside of the city, I was not expecting an additional parking fee. There was no complimentary water in the room, and the room itself was very cold. The heater did not warm the space adequately, which was uncomfortable. Fortunately, there was an extra bed in the room, so I was able to use the additional blankets to stay warm. Overall, it was a bad experience for a pricey hotel, and I would not consider staying again for the value offered.
