Beautiful grounds, good breakfast, helpful front staff. Hotel location great, very close to a bunch of great restaurants and central, but still offers such a nice and peaceful get away from the hustle of the city . Would love to stay again.

We loved every minute of our stay. The staff were so kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were particularly lovely with our one year old granddaughter. The room was spotless and the pools were amazing!

The staff at the hotel were so friendly, we were invited to a drinks reception for returning guests and we got to talk to many staff members. The breakfast was wonderful. We plan to Reto next year.

Dès notre arrivée nous avons été accueilli avec le sourire et on nous annonce qu’ils ont upgrade notre chambre. Tous les employés sont à l’écoute de nos besoins, installations très propres, des immenses jardins, un site exceptionnel avec de bons restaurants et bars, un spa magnifique, bref un séjour mémorable, on va revenir.

Still one of the best Hotels in the Lido area and quite close to Funchal. Great facilities and friendly staff. Extremely convenient location and beautiful gardens.

Friendly approachable staff in a well kept environment. Beautiful pools and garden areas and shared facilities with Porto Mare hotel. Alfama breakfast restaurant buffet a bit bijou but can use Atlântida which is more open. Well situated for walking or regular buses into Funchal. Very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay,

Staff are amazing, facilities are great, with so many pools in the resort you can find space to chill and relax. Rooms are good, could do with a bit of updating. Food options are good too and there are loads of restaurants and bars close by.

Hotel.com error resulted in at hotel unexpected charges. Hotel kindly offered to reduce their rate. Hotel com where intransigent.

Ein sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel in der Nähe der Küste (Lido). Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Hervorragendes Frühstücksangebot. --> unbedingt empfehlenswert Kostenlose Parkplätze sind knapp. Über Nacht kann man preisgünstig beim Lido Bad parken.

Hotel was lovely usually stay at the Porta Mare but tried Eden Mar so we could use kitchenette on our 2 week stay. Just as good room was very big & you still use all facilities. Would recommend, clean & service & bar area excellent

Great place to stay. If (when) we go back to Madeira, this will be our first choice for accomodation :)
