Great location and spacious room.

I have,stayed in this Hotel several times under its previous ownership when it was a good, 4 star boutique Hotel. The current owners have made it much more "middle of the road" and seem to have list the large bar and separate dinnibg area. These are now replaced by a small "Pub" style bar that doubles as the breakfast room. Consequently, there is obviously little time to sweep and clean after the night service meaning breakfast was served in quite scruffy conditions (the floor, and stairs into, the area we were sat in obviously had not been swept in a couple of days and the ledge next to our table had a very thick layer of brick and mortar dust from the bare brick walls. The general condition of the Hotel is fare and the room are clean and comfortable.The big plus point is the staff who all work hard, are warm, friendly and helpful.

The staff at front desk was never at the front desk. My room didn’t feel the cleanest and the walls were very thin. I could hear my neighbor coughing all night.

Breakfast was perfect size to fill me up for the morning. Bed was really comfy i had a great sleep bathroom & bath spacious and clean.

Shabby tired room, heating was not working, no tv remote. Will never stay there again and definitely do not recommend others! There are plenty more decent hotels in Nottingham

Great firm mattress, excellent location for exploring the city.

I thought the room and the bathroom were a little shabby. Staff were polite.

The staff went above and beyond to make this an INCREDIBLE stay! The location and view of St. Mary’s directly next door is unparalleled. The breakfast was outstanding! Highly recommend

Room was comfortable, however we did not think that the breakfast was of good enough quality or level of service for the price paid for the room.

Excellent location on a quiet street close to the city centre. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and our room was spacious and comfortable.

The best thing about this Hotel was the stuff. The guy on front desk and the girl in the bar were lovely. But the Hotel itself feels really tired, is dark and really needs painting and new carpets to say the least. The Hotel smiled quite nice on entry, but my room, number 15, was through a fire door beyond which everything smiled quite badly like toilet. The paintwork and cushions in the room were stained and dirty. The bed was really uncomfortable, really soft and the springs were uncomfortable.
