MUCH better than previous stays. Lobby music was appropriate with some light, jazz, piano, and when it switched over to more contemporary music, (still pretty cruddy music choice) over the speakers, the volume wasn’t nearly as high as previously. Valet staff were great (weren't last time), room was quiet, front desk was their always-professional selves. 4 stars (upgrade from previous visits) due to, the piped in music choice when live piano wasn't happening and the still-clunky check-in process (consistently 10 to 15 minutes)

Great service….Great location. Loved it

First, the staff could not find our reservation of three rooms. Secondly, they gave two of the people checking in the same room so my assistant checked into a room occupied by someone else. Then, it took more than 30 minutes (at 11pm at night when we were exhausted) to get another room - again, they couldn't find the reservation, when I tried to clarify, the staff gave me attitude about booking through a third party. Made me never want to stay there again.

Location of this hotel is amazing it is truly in walking distance to everything. Right across the street from Union station so getting to and from the airport was simple and within 30 minutes. Staff was awesome and the rooms were clean. I will say the only downside with being down town is that most restaurants are on the more upscale and expensive side. Even some of the pubs were more expensive than I was used to. But overall great experience and would recommend hotel to all.

There was a brown stain on the white comforter which was disgusting. Other than that, everything was good.

Tiny bathroom and closet and the shower didn’t get hot water. No mini fridge for personal items is very inconvenient. For the price it is lacking a bit. Gym was great.

They would not check me in as my credit card was compromised and the supervisor was incredibly hostile to the situation and offered no help in resolving the issue despite me offering solutions. I am expecting to fully reimbursed.

Great location. Staff was wonderful and always kind. Valet parking was convenient which is especially helpful in Toronto where downtown parking can be pricey and located far away.

Staff were fantastic, although we paid around $550 for the night plus $200 for dinner and $175 for breakfast we were in the smallest room possible that wasn’t the standard I was expecting I know it’s an old hotel but the wallpaper was peeling the fans didn’t work, no outlets in the washroom, we had to ask for robes. It just wasn’t the experience I had hoped.

The staff was amazing! esp our check in clerk (wish I remembered her name) she was working at the desk at approx 830pm Jan 25. The rest of the staff exceeded our expectations. Room was clean, all room amenities were great, however noticed some room finishes (doors, baseboards etc) could use some refreshing or updating. bed was comfortable and Library restaurant and our server was fantastic! All in all, a pleasant and welcoming stay!
