It is conveniently located, just about 10-min walk (straight road) to the train station. It is quiet and the harbour view is great. Staff are helpful and informative. The room is neat, tidy and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, with a wide range of food to choose from ! Really a nice stay!

Har overnattet på Thon Nordlys ved flere anledninger og frokosten på hotellet er helt fantastisk. Jeg mener det er den beste frokosten i Bodø. Personalet er hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Rommet jeg hadde var fin størrelse på, og sengen er meget god. Det eneste minuset jeg har, er at vannglassene på badet ikke var rene. Tydelige tegn på at de bare var tørket av med en klut, og deretter satt tilbake. Skitten på innsiden, og rester etter leppemerker. Hadde det bare vært vannmerker etter steamer/oppvask så hadde jeg ikke brydd meg. Dette har skjedd på stort sett ALLE hotellkjeder jeg har vært på. Den enkle løsningen er å la være å drikke av de, og i tillegg gi beskjed i resepsjonen, som jeg selvfølgelig gjorde. Men uansett dette lille problemet, så er hotellet helt fantastisk, med fine rom og flott beliggenhet.

Right next to the harbour and the harbour side restaurants. Very helpful staff who advised us on the best place to park. Some wonderful niceties, like face flannels and tissues. Doesn’t sound like much but very pleasing. Great pub downstairs too.

Albergo moderno, pulito con camere abbastanza spaziose in una area tranquilla di fronte al mare.Personae molto gentile ed attento alle esigenze del cliente. La cosa più spettacolare di certo la colazione a buffet con una infinità di possibili scelte. Tutto di prima qualità. Eccezionale veramente !

The front desk staff was truly outstanding and made our stay exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us with navigation to our next destination and assisted us with many other details throughout our stay. Excellent service like this really sets a hotel apart—thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I had a nice, clean room with a comfy bed and a super view of the harbor. Staff were really good and there is a very nice restaurant in the same building.

I had booked a three night stay here but didn’t actually stay at this hotel. When I arrived to check in for my Wed, Thu, Fri night stays I was told that the hotel would be closed on Friday. They said that they had tried to call me, but I never got any calls. My options were to stay at Nordlys for two nights and then move to the Thon Partner Hotel Skagen for the Friday night. Or I could just move to that hotel for all three nights. I didn’t really want to pack up and move just for one night so I opted to got there for all three. I think this was a mistake as the partner hotel is obviously not as nice as the one I had booked. So my review can only be of Thon Partner Hotel Skagen. The staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent, and my room was very nice. There is not gym or restaurant at this hotel. In the evening from 4 to 7 there are free waffles and from 7 to 9 free bread and soup. I tried the soup the first night and it was excellent.
