I have not had any issues with my stay here at all. It was a beautiful hotel. I also think the price was reasonable. The customer service was good. They gave us more towels when we asked. The hotel is right on the beach and the water is gorgeous! (See pics) The only thing I wish was that the restaurant served Bahamian food too, instead of the regular food I can get in America. My husband and I decided that if we came back to Nassau, and needed a hotel, we could bring the whole family to this hotel.

Great location and very good service.

I stayed at the British Colonial on a recent business trip and I have nothing but good things to say about the property. It’s well located and the rooms are comfortable. The gym is decent too. Food is a little on the pricey side, but this being The Bahamas, that’s to be expected.

Property is nice and clean but the rooms are on the small side. The food takes too long. 45 mins for quesadillas is unacceptable so don't order hungry. Otherwise everything else was great.

The hotel was a very good one. The service was excellent all the way around. The hotel was clean, and the staff was attentive. The front desk was very responsive and polite addressing every concern that I needed answers or help with. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. Our room had a shower as well as a tub. The ocean view was spectacular. There were restaurants in the hotel that served good food. I strongly recommend this hotel it is clean, safe and in a very good location around many shops within walking distance.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold. Vi var på bryllupsreise og dette hotellet var helt fantastisk!! Suverene ansatte. Jeg må virkelig skryte litt ekstra av: Danette og Stephon fra Mahogni resturant, Trevor fra baren, Aida fra frokosten på tamarind market place og Gerdia. Dere fikk oss virkelig til å føle oss spesielle på vår bryllupsreise. Anbefaler virkelig dette hotellet.

Not to far from the airport. Friendly service with decent food options available. We liked the location being in town but still having a beach to relax.

Very nice location. Ambiance and decor were very kice. The only draw back was the size of our room, small square feetage for the price. But the grounds, pools and surroundings areas were very nice.

Staff is super friendly and location is excellent. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Overall hotel was basic. Nice beach. Nice proximity to town. Gratuity & taxes added to everything. Would not go back.

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and spectacular this hotel was. It is said to be the oldest hotel on the island. Recently refurbished in 2023, it reflects opulence and grandeur. Rooms are clean, spacious. Ours was an ocean view room. We daily watched the incoming Cruise ships from our room. WiFi very good in all areas. All in all a lovely stay. The hotel is central to downtown Nassau, placed well for eating and entertainment

Great private beachfront location yet close to shopping, main attractions. Comfortable accommodation, very friendly helpful staff. Wonderful Sunday buffet breakfast :) highly recommend for a decent priced Nassau stay that checks all the boxes. Stayed with my toddler and it was perfect
