Next time I come back to Bristol, I’d definitely be staying in this hotel again! The bed is very comfy, the free milk machine is such a nice facility in the corridor, the welcome cookies were yummy, the service is good, the room is nice and clean.

The check in staff were friendly and professional. Our room was large but needed updating. The mattress needed replacing and the sofa was very stained. The toilet didn’t flush very well and the shower pressure was weak. The curious kitchen staff were very efficient and friendly especially our waiter Cris from Italy. The food was delicious but the steak was a little tough. Had to order chips, onion rings and sauce as extra so it made the meal very expensive. The prawn cocktail was the best my husband had ever tasted! The fresh milk and water machines in the corridors were a nice touch. The room had a fridge, iron and ironing board. As we booked through Expedia, the use of the spa and pool facilities were £15 per person but we didn’t have time to use these so saved ourselves money using Expedia. The car park was free on the weekend.

I had a lovely stay, enjoyed the spa and treatment room and the room service was great. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only let down was the robes in the rooms have security tags on and they had holes in and were very grubby which kind of put a dampener on the 4* experience.

Nice clean rooms, but the shower had quite advanced mould growing.

Great property and very helpful staff. It was a much needed break for my family and we made full use of the facilities, gym, pool, restaurants and spa (massage). We loved how the property took small details to accommodate for our family, which included kids size robes / slippers, welcome activity pack and snacks and key was separate individual sofa twin beds. My only comment is regarding the family pool times are limited so it does get congested during those allotted hours and especially during the weekends when families with annual resort passes attend, otherwise it was quite during our stay during normal school hours. Overall amazing stay.

Stay in hotel was really pleasant and nice , but room service timings was only slightly disappointing as we reached our room pretty late after 10:45 pm, we thought to order something as in brochure it was mentioned 24 hours but we had to check in reception to figure out the room service was only till 9 pm.. Rest everything was really good👍..

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel! The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful. I didn't have a chance to visit the pool and sauna however. Only item to note is the central heating system was broken the weekend that I stayed. The hotel helpfully supplied a portable heater, which helped in the evening.

All the staff were so polite and helpful. This interaction makes all the difference in making an overnight stay a positive event.

Customer service on arrival was poor. Room was comfortable but not lavish. Food was ok, room service was great customer service. Hotel was clean and good. Not our best hotel stay.

My room did not have central heating working and had to use a portable heater. Apparently some other rooms have similar problem and no maintenance to fix on a Saturday evening. Reception wasn’t great either and not offered another room or any discount for discomfort. All in all not a good experience at the hotel.

They told us we couldn’t check in till 3:45 as our room wasn’t ready, because we had a reservation we needed to leave the room at 3:30, they managed to get us into a different room 15 minutes later and said it was an “upgrade”. However the room was very cold, worn and old fashioned, radiators didn’t work and the shower took 40 mins to work after my partner used it. Wouldn’t recommend for the price, stay somewhere else and pay an extra £20. We wouldn’t return.

A last minute decision to book a stay for some rest and relaxation, Aztec Hotel & Spa certainly did not disappoint. Room clean and fresh on arrival, staff polite and helpful and the food was amazing! A great treat for myself, I will be back.
