Nice quiet area with useful onsite free car parking.Easy walk into Sandymount village with some nice restaurants.It is also possible to walk to the beach or drive further down the coast to Blackrock,Sandycove and Dalkey The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff friendly .

Overall hotel was nice,good location for stadium,only complaints is when checking in staff member wasn’t very polite and no air conditioning or fridge for the price that was paid for the classic king room!!

There's a bit of building work going on at the front of the building at the moment but it's not disruptive to guests. It's a bit of an odd layout inside, really narrow corridors. Our room was in a little alcove at the end of a corridor. A little bit bizarre but it's a nice hotel, right next to the Aviva stadium, which is quite an impressive looking stadium.

Excellent food and location, staff could be more attentive

Lovely hotel & great location. Hotel was close to the Dart station which allowed us to enjoy the city but be just a ride away. Rooms were clean and very quiet and the staff were nice and helpful.

As always, I enjoyed my stay.... can't recommend this hotel enough. On the down side, there seems to be a high level of staff turnover, which has lead to inconsistencies and a slight drop in attention to detail and first class service. However, I will definitely be back

The property was under renovation so things were a bit messy. If you’re coming for the US be prepared for no AC. The outlets did not have a USB option so bring a converter or they had them available to borrow. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than traditional rooms in the US.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were amazing. Clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just a bit annoying with maintenance work going on in the corridor.

Lovely property with beautiful surroundings and a great neighbourhood. The hotel itself is charming, although it can feel a bit like a maze when trying to find your room. I stayed in Room 323, which was very comfortable. The room did not have air conditioning, but when I requested a fan, the receptionist provided one immediately, which was much appreciated. The room amenities were good, and I particularly enjoyed the daily selection of biscuits, which changed each day and added a nice touch. One point to note is that a colleague's room was located next to the linen room, and unfortunately they had a disturbed night's sleep due to housekeeping activity starting around 6:30am. I stayed for two nights on a business trip in early June and overall had a pleasant experience. The setting and local area were definitely highlights of the stay

Love the Sandymount. The staff is great friendly without being intrusive, happy to help and always offers a cup of tea or drink while you are waiting. The hotel is simple and comfortable. We love its location and it's close to Dublin if you pick up the train, an uber or taxi. Have stayed multiple times and never disappointed.

We were impress with clean rooms and helpful staff. The only suggestion i could make is the air con in the rooms as we were very lucky with the weather. The hotel had so many cosy sitting areas which is great for relaxing and we found the bar was very reasnable priced. The location is also good as only 2 stops to town by train.
