Hey Sandman, yes you the Sandman chain. have you seen the movie Apex, Kawwww. How this disgusting place can carry your name is truly a mystery. From the huge hole in the ceiling on reception, and the terrible odour of the front lobby (maybe something’s died in the ceiling) oh and I should mention the duct taped locking system of the front doors to the narrow stinky hallway. The room could not possibly be clean given the total disrepair of the building. Like in the movie Apex you have till the end of this review to start running.

The Sandman was a very affordable stop on our journey. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The room was clean, although a little dated, but it was fine. It reminded me of travelling with my parents, only now I’m the parent travelling with my daughter.

Good Parking. Renovations were happening but the room was clean and comfortable. The Motel was in a good location for passing through.

Staff excellent! Room clean, bed comfortable. Strong smell of cigarette smoke lobby and lower floor. Construction dumpster outside bad smell! Hopefully once renos are finished, lobby and lower floor will be better.

This motel has been well looked after for its age although there are some thing s that could be fixed in time. It was comfortable and affordable for our one night stay.

They are doing a good job of renovating. The bathroom baseboards need some work.

Manager was on duty and was very polite and did everything possible to help u enjoy your stay. Room only had one facecloth and one hand towel, he said all rooms are to have 4 towels and 2 facecloths and immediately got more of everything and said he was very sorry about it. As I said the staff were very accommodating and the stay was great. I will be staying there on all future trips to Alberta Thanks again

Comfortable beds and very clean. We did find the lights not bright enough.

For a quick night stay as we passed through, it was ok. Our room was missing it's security locks (the frame of the door had been ripped off along with the top flip lock) so we weren't super keen on that but we knew we were only there for one night. The inn is obviously undergoing some renovations, which they noted on entry to excuse some of the mess. Our view out our door was garbage bins and kitchen mess from the closed restaurant which wasn't awesome, but again small town inn that we were just passing through so good enough for a night.

Clean room and a good place to sleep and move on

The room was clean and pretty standard. Having a bit of a kitchenette was helpful. The A/C was very loud, it made it hard to sleep on a hot night. The hotel is undergoing renovations and the many of the common areas are not in great shape.

Older inn but clean and comfortable and well priced competitive great for casual traveller with a child.

The room was ok, but the rest of the hotel was in really bad shape. Dirty and broken stuff everywhere. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Motel was doing some renovations to the front office & restaurant while we were there , so the restaurant was not open... rooms are clean...price is reasonable...close to town
