The experience at Muthu was great. Staff were very courteous as well as accommodating. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great too. I liked the vibe of the place and the entrance is really grand. Gives a classy look without the expensive price tag.

The spa facilities were really great and created a great opportunity for the family to spend time together. Really appreciated the hotel faciltating our family of 4 to stay in a junior suite even though we were 4. The room was clean and spacious and was a real break for us! Only thing was breakfast wasa bit expensive for us as it the resaurant seemed to be managed separately. All in all really lovely!

Me and my 5 year old Daughter stayed here for 4 nights. All the staff were fantastic and friendly, the food in both the restaurant and bar was really good and the pool facilities were ideal for what we were after. only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the room we had and the pool in particularly could use some 'TLC' the shower in our room was loose and there were several areas in the pool where areas of tiles have come away. Would still defo stay again though, mostly due to how great all the staff were.

Hotel is ok. Bit of a pain if your put in the garden rooms as it’s quite a walk for breakfast etc in the morning.

The meals were very good and the facilities were also good. Disappointment with the Wi-Fi did improve towards the end of our stay. Lovely location

Would not stay here again. We had a stained mattress with a bed spring sticking up which made sleep near impossible. Our shower was luke warm. We complained to the hotel and were told their inspection showed the mattress was in good order and the shower was hot. This was not our experience and we will not return.

I was working in the area and needed somewhere with a gym and pool. Found this gem and I wasn't disappointed. The gym was great for a hotel and the pool area was amazing. Everything here that was needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and food were superb and again the staff were great. Couldn't fault this place for a first visit. I will return.

Uncomfortable bed! No armchair for comfort, had to sit on bed to watch tv. Plug hole for basin needed cleaning! Opulent reception area but much less for the bedroom!

The hotel is very attractive in its own grounds with ample parking. It has been decorated with opulence and gives a luxury feel. It is an old buiding so there are the usual challenges with air conditioning and water pressure, but the rooms are well equipped. The bar is spacious and the restaurant is popular with guests and locals alike, even on a Tuesday. The hotel is out of town so a car is necessary to get to the amenities.

Very dated hotel. Needs a thorough clean cobwebs all over the place, musk smell through. Missing bannister poles in places, needs work. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

A nice hotel with excellent facilities & staff. 2 mile walk into Ipswich, not too strenuous also, nature reserve was a pleasant experience. The room was a good size if a little tired and needed door mats to the front and rear entrances
