The pictures do not match the rooms at all. A mix of new and old. Upon entering the hotel, it was very busy, 1 staff member Dayton (very nice and helpful) was trying to check everyone in.
The entrance is run down and dated, parking lot requires sweeping and cleaning. Entering my room, the room smelled musty, weird smell.
The door needs repair as I had to push it closed. Dark brown old curtains falling off the track, old windows with no screens (dangerous) do not lock and need repair. Kitchenette is okay, old counters and tap. Couch is newer and clean.
Bathroom is old and dated, dust on counters and makeup item by toilet. Main bedroom is good, bed decent, again old brown curtains and old windows. Air conditioner is old and very loud. Bedroom worked well but main room did not.
The stairwells are dirty, carpet worn and falling apart. Behind the hotel is an old concrete lot full of weeds, what an eyesore!
The coffee is terrible, why serve it?
The only bright spot is Moxie's and Denny's on site.
I travel a lot and I will never stay in a Sandman again, the quality and care is not there.
