Dear United Hotel Taipei Management, I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your hotel. I arrived at the hotel early around 8:30 AM after a long 4.5-hour flight with my son. I asked about an early check-in but was told it would require a half-day charge. Since that wasn’t ideal, I decided to wait in the lobby until the usual check-in time around 12–1 PM. My son was very tired and sleepy, so he lay down briefly on the sofa while we waited. His feet were clean (no shoes or socks). About 30 minutes later, a staff member came over and told us my son should not lie down. I explained the situation, and he said he would try to find a solution but, in the meantime, asked my son to sit properly only on the sofa. My son, despite being tired, followed the instructions and sat up. However, no one followed up with us or offered any assistance after that. We ended up leaving the hotel around 10:30 AM to wait elsewhere. I noticed that before the staff member approached us, an older male staff member possibly a manager kept walking by and glaring at us, as if we were doing something wrong. His behavior felt judgmental and made us feel very unwelcome. This is not the level of service I expect from a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. I’ve stayed at many hotels in this category or higher, and most are much more accommodating, especially when guests are traveling with children. I hope your team reflects on this experience and offers better support and understanding to families in the future. A little empathy would have made a big difference.

Kamar rapi, nyaman luas, ada bathup dan shower, selalu di makeup room, pelayanan ramah dan bisa diajak komunikasi berbahasa inggris sedikit-sedikit. Lokasi 5 menit dari sevel dan banyak minimarket lainnya. Dekat starbucks serta stasiun MRT Sunyatsen. hairdryer, pemanas air minum, air hangat untuk mandi, dan televisi berfungsi dengan baik. Breakfast kalau beli di hotel tidak 600 per orang. Harus deposit 1000 tapi malam untuk 1 kamar dimuka.

I like the hotel. Hotel staffs are very helpful and polite. Location is good, very convenient to shopping area, subway is just a few minutes walk from hotel. Room and bathroom are spacious, except that the shower is not strong enough, water at the sink is stronger than the shower.
