We waited at the front desk for 5 minutes while we checked in. But the breakfast was very good.

Room with nice view of fjord

Location is perfect and just beside the Fjord. However, we got a room that the water temperature for shower was not able to adjust so we took a shower with a bit cold water…

Booked 2 rooms with Fjord view for USD 300 a night per room, and looked forward enjoying the view…. But instead I got to see one cruise ship blockibg the view on the first day, and a second cruise ship blockibg the view on the other day. Disappointong and not worth the money. The hotel is great the view is absent.

Ett mycket bra hotell vid fjorden, nära till kaj, butiker och restauranger. Fina rum och en bra reception, med bra personal. Gratis parkering. Några negativa saker: Frukostpersonalen: De stod och kollade på min tjej som tog bröd för att göra mackor med pålägg, till mig som är handikappad och som var kvar på rummet. De sa att om ni tar med produkter från frukosten ska ni betala extra för detta, vilket det inte fanns anslag på om detta. Nu togs ingen avgift ut, när min tjej berättade om situationen. Jag ringde receptionen och ville lämna rummet kl 12.00, då meddelade de att det skulle kosta 450 Norska kronor, men det gick bra till 11.45 utan kostnad!!?.... Konstigt svar.... 169 Norska kronor för en öl i baren!!!... Annars ett bra hotell.

Cruiseskip blokkerte utsikt hele kvelden. Men var borte på morgenen.

Gutes Hotel in Eidfjord mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet und genügend Platz für drei Personen , die Teppiche müssten entweder mal gründlich gereinigt werden oder rausgerissen und im Anschluss Laminat mit verlegt werden so sieht das leider etwas schmuddlig aus - ansonsten aber ein wirklich schönes Hotel

Iskaldt badegulv. Språkproblemer (en norsk ansatt) Meget kort middagsmeny. Rot med middagsregning, den hadde doblet seg og jeg har fremdeles ikke fått oppgjør for det (1150 Nkr), som bes overført min kto: 0540 9413120. Mvh Geir-Inge Fossnes.

Clean and beautiful view

Friendly and efficient staff, fantastic location, and clean room. Exceptionally comfortable bed. View of the full fjord, until a cruise ship docked and blocked the view for a while. Even then, the hotel was charming and totally enjoyable. Excellent, large selection (and delicious) breakfast buffet. We enjoyed this hotel, highly recommend.

This is an old fashion hotel located at waterfront, having beautiful view and nice surrounding. Room is spacious and breakfast is very good. There are plenty parking and a large commercial EV charging station next to the parking lot.

Veldig fint og rent både ute og inne

Old and dated hotel - the whole place needs to be renovated. We were in a family room that was musty with dirty carpet, old bathroom, and lumpy beds. Typical choices for breakfast which was good. The hotel sits directly on the fjord with views from the dining room, but there’s a different cruise ship docked in front there every morning, so all you can see is the ship. The view is completely blocked. There’s a small guest house down the road that’s not near the dock so it has much better views.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We had a fjord view room with balcony and it was well worth the extra we paid as the weather was great. The breakfast was good, didn’t eat in the restaurant. The drinks were pricey but that’s Norway in general. Recommend.
