Paid 25 Euro more for an upgrade to a room with balcony that you can watch the Flower Parade from there comfortably. Room is spacious and clean with a supper comfy bed. Parking lot costs 24 Euro and the breakfast is 19 Euro. Both are pricey but convenient. No time to use the swimming pool and spa.

Clean, cosy, and comfortable room. Price is reasonable. It will be the best choice if free parking is provided. Staff are nice and friendly. Not enough time to enjoy spa facilities. Lots of restaurants nearby and overlooking the sea.

Familienzimmer ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, Dusche in der Badewanne geht gar nicht, Frühstück unverhältnismäßig teuer, es wird nicht täglich gesaugt in den Zimmern

Schönes Hotel, Strand ist zu Fuß schnell erreicht, die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und groß. Das Personal ist bemüht Probleme schnell zu lösen. Auch für Kinder wird was geboten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wij verbleven op een familiekamer met onze kinderen(8 en 10). Fijn, ruim, groot balkon alleen wel een beetje verouderd. Zo hoorde je de airco best goed en was ook de bedbank waar de kinderen op moesten slapen niet zo comfortabel meer. Ook zagen we mensen naar de spa gaan met badjassen maar deze hadden wij niet op de kamer. Wel leuk dat de kinderen op het bed een apart douchegel pakketje voor kinderen hadden liggen. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant of de bar in het hotel omdat we lekker naar het strand en de strandtenten zijn gelopen. We zouden zo nog een keer het hotel boeken i.v.m. de afstand tot het strand.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen sicher noch mal wieder.

Tolles Hotel, prima Lage, alles sehr sauber und sehr nettes Personal. Das Frühstück könnte bei dem Preis etwas mehr Auswahl bieten.

Für einen Kurztrip sehr zu empfehlen! Das Hotel ist modernisiert worden und bietet mit Pool und einem Spielzimmer auch etwas für die Kinder.

We stayed for the flower parade and it the perfect location for it. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel as well as swimming and the children’s room. A few things to note: We were travelling with bikes on the roof and were told “no problem we’ll be able to use the underground car park” you can definitely not get in the car park with bikes on the roof. A large gazebo was set up in the car park so we couldn’t use the parking spaces in front of the car park to park up and take the bikes off the roof. Though we found a way around this I wasn’t told I’d then need a room card to open the bike access to the car park! Despite having gone into reception they didn’t tell me to check in first and get the room key. Which lead to a very frustrating 30 mins. On the day of the flower show hotel guests were not allowed in the front of the hotel as there were dignitaries and sponsors (I presume) using the hotel lobby, car park with marquee and a bar that had been set up. When we came back in we wanted some drinks and were sent to the bar which was cordoned off for the dignitaries. It was clear we should not have been there and should have been shown back into the restaurant where we could’ve easily got a drink. It was chaos basically and I feel the staff were not properly trained or briefed on how to manage guests who were mostly freely coming and going from the breakfast area. Staff at dinner were great.

Für 350 Euro die Nacht haben wir schon was besonderes erwartet. Waren maßlos enttäuscht das wir für das Frühstück 25,50 Euro pro Person extra zahlen mussten. Mini Bar und Parkplatz ging natürlich auch nochmal extra. Müsste definitiv im Internet besser beschrieben sein. Rezeption ...naja hatte extra Bettdecke bestellt sollte auch aufs Zimmer gebracht werden bis heute nichts...und im Badezimmer hatten wir zwar 2 Waschbecken aber eins war verstopft somit nicht nutzbar alles in allem Preis Leistung sehr unausgeglichen van der Falk ist für uns erst mal tabu falls da von der Hotelleitung nichts mehr passieren sollte

This is a nice hotel in a lovely town, just a short stroll to shops, restaurants and a beautiful beach. On arrival we were given our room earlier than advertised which was a great start. We had paid extra to have a balcony in our standard room. Unfortunately that balcony gave a view straight out to a busy Construction site. Reception insisted this was what we booked and that this was as advertised. This is not true. No-one would pay extra for a balcony overlooking a building site but they were unwilling to accept this and were not understanding about why we were disappointed. They said this is advertised on their website but we booked through Expedia. We paid for an additional upgrade and got a lovely room but it was a disappointing start to our stay. Our new room was lovely, clean, bright, modern and spacious. We really enjoyed breakfast at the hotel too. All in all a lovely stay after paying for another upgrade.

Welcoming hotel with friendly staff. We arrived early, from the ferry, at 11:00 and they had a room ready for us. This allowed us to park straight away and explore the area, lots going on as it was King’s Day. Room spacious and clean, I read that the TV is connectable to your device so you can use your own streaming services. Water is hot and plentiful and an Infrared lamp in the shower. A mini bar package can be bought to stock your fridge. Complimentary tea and capsule coffee in the room. We had a late ferry on check out day and it was okay to leave the car all day after we’d checked out. We hired cycles from the hotel on our last day. Brilliant hotel and area, plenty of local food and drinking places within easy walking distance. The beach and a handful of beach clubs with excellent food and ambiance are also within easy walking distance.
