Our first time staying at this hotel in Thunder Bay. Will be staying again. Nice friendly spot. Breakfast was good.

The staff at the Ho Jo are always outstanding, friendly and so accommodating! However, the cost is significantly higher since our previous stay, and I’m wondering if this isn’t influenced by the people displaced from their communities and the wild fires in Canada. It appears all hotels and motels prices have rose substantially.

The hotel was generally clean and properly kept. The staff were accomodating and well mannered.

I would stay here again

The door to room 115 was not willing to close on its own. As well, the door to the bathroom didn't close as easy as you might think. The bathroom was little tight, but served its purpose. The rest of the room was fine. The breakfast was acceptable and check out was no problem.

Clean room, adequate breakfast.

Located near the main highway, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations very close by. Breakfast included waffles, cereal, coffee/tea/juice, hardboiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit, and bagels/toast (individually wrapped portions to ensure no contamination from fingers 😋). Very sanitary. Rooms bright and clean, a/c worked well, so overall very comfortable and quiet. There was a guest coin laundry available as well. Traveling with spouse and our dog, and we all enjoyed a very restful night!

Fabulous room

The room we were given appears to have used to been down a hallway for an emergency exit. I was a little on edge with it when my little kids were with me and worried about them running out it. Rooms were big though there was a huge pinesol smell

Good clean hotel, and our group enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was supposed to be at 6:30 then it wasn't ready, and we have to wait. It wasn't a real Continental breakfast, but rather pre-wrapped did choices. I would recommend it.
