Quick and easy check-in. Lovely room, air-conditioned. Spacious and full bathroom. We used the pool and spa area, which is lovely. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was slightly chaotic, it was a Sunday morning so predictably busy and they seem to be shortstaffed. The newly served fried eggs were cold, as were the plates but generally it was ok! I felt sorry for the staff because they were doing a great job despite being understaffed. The room was meticulously clean. I would stay here again as it’s in a great location for travelling in the area

We came for a spa day and overnight stay with treatments booked, for my partner’s birthday. The check in process was quick and easy, our room was lovely (we booked a king room) but we ended up being upgraded for free to a superior king which included a mini bar and was slightly larger. The bed was super comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. The spa was nice, the relaxation room and treatment areas were really clean and so relaxing, ambient lighting and calming music really set the tone. The staff were lovely, explained everything to us as we had never been before. We both had full body massages and they were incredible. Claire did mine and she was really lovely and I was super relaxed afterwards. The pool area was nice, a little busy and not exactly like the photos online, but we still enjoyed it. The hot tub was gorgeous but possibly a bit too much chlorine in, my eyes and jewellery suffered slightly! I’d made a request to have champagne put in our room while we were in the spa and they did it perfectly. My partner was really surprised when we got back up to the room. We didn’t eat dinner there but had breakfast the next morning which was a lovely buffet style with a wide variety of choices, suitable for coeliacs and vegetarian and vegan. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and spa experience and we will definitely be back.

It’s our fourth time using this hotel. It is a very convenient stopover location while travelling further north. It’s always a very pleasant experience.

Booked 1 night as a relaxing get away. The pool, steam room, and sauna were great. Sadly the jacuzzi that i had been looking forwards to was closed for cleaning which was disappointing. Unfortunately there were a few negatives. Firstly i was on the second floor and on exiting the lift was greeted with an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke which was not pleasant. The room it self was nice but the pillows were extremely hard and seemed as though an oversized pillow have been put in a pillow case too small. I coukd not use them. The shower was damaged and had no off position meaning it was difficult to stop the shower without turning on the bath tap. The sink was also blocked and drained extremely slowly. These things let what coukd have been a lovely stay down.

Room was beautifully clean with an up to date bathroom. Waiting staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful as were the receptionists. Thank you

Great hotel ,very clean and very friendly staff

My husband and I have just returned from an overnight stay. We had a lovely room on the 2nd floor. It was really clean and a good size. We used the leisure facilities which were also spotlessly clean. The pool is a great size and has loungers around it. Also great hairdryer and straighteners. We had dinner in the bar and the staff were great and really helpful. The food was lovely and well priced. We had a twin room and we both felt the beds were quite hard and a bit uncomfortable, it took us a while to get to sleep. Breakfast was a bit unorganized, when we arrived there were lots of tables but they hadn't been cleared so took a while to get a clean table. Other people came in and where walking about looking for tables. The breakfast itself was lovely with a good selection of cereal, fruit, yogurt and pastries. My husband also enjoyed a cooked breakfast. I can only assume that they were short staffed in the morning. The hotel is lovely and the staff are really nice and welcoming.

Good standard hotel. I slept well which is quite unusual for me.

Upon arrival we were informed that we were the guests of the day which included a room upgrade free drink and free mini bar in the room which was a wonderful surprise! The man on reception was efficient and polite as were the bar staff. We ate in the lounge food was nice along with breakfast we used the spa facilities which were clean and a great way to relax. The only criticism I have is that the bar area has a smell of dog which is just a personal preference but other than that a great stay and we will be back!

Staff did all they could under extreme pressure on sunday morning this was due i believe to the hotel being full due to a large wedding on the Saturday Some items ran out initially with a few mins wait but were replaced asap

Didn’t use amenities ie swimming pool spa etc, room was clean, had a de-luxe twin bedded room my mattress was awful not at all comfortable didn’t do my back any good - did report it to receptionist when checking out - she said would report it - cooked breakfast could have been hotter - plenty of car parking -

Lovely place for catch up with people or for Manchester airport as not far from motorway. Lovely staff too.
