Staff checking in early was very friendly and helpful . Room was clean & spacious . Close to Tim Hortons . 5 min drive to down town. Breakfast was waffles , French toast . Egg bites you heated up . Plus the usuals We would stay there again !

Everything was great

We liked the ionized water station in the lobby and the nice pub /restaurant attached to the hotel. We ate there and it was very good. The breakfast wasn't the best but it was adequate. It was clean and quiet and we had a good stay.

Nice hotel with easy access to Invermere

it has been a long time since the entrance to a hotel did not have doors that opened automatically - here you have to carry luggage and open doors at the same time. The breakfast offerings were the worst of the “breakfast included” options of hotel chains. Staff were fine - just would not choose this option again - there are much better choices in this price range

Booked two nights stay at the hotel. On arrival realized that the bathtub does not drain and the dirty water stays up in the tub. Talked to the staff on duty and was told that immediate repair is not possible, but it will be fixed in the morning. Came back in the evening after a full day of hiking to the bathtub cleaned up from dirt residue but still not draining at all. Talked to general manager who was not able to offer another room or repair, but was promised a discount. Two nights of no shower, going offsite and paying to get access to showers. Eventually discount offered 20% off stay, for a room that’s essentially a bed and a bathroom and a ruined stay. Expedia reached out and same response from management.

The stay at Kanata was good. The bed was great, which is important. However, the bathroom was in need of some maintenance. From toilet water issue to bathtub draining REALLY slow. The continental breakfast has lots of room for improvements

Beds were comfortable, cappuccino machine , pillows not good, no pool or hot tub

We were only overnight, the check-in was easy and checkout was simple, it was comfortable after a long drive. The restaurant next door was very convenient and fast service even though being very busy.

Had a good stay! The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, spacious, and some amenities were available. The pool/hot tub was closed. The fitness room was open. Breakfast was also good. Continental style. If there would have been a buffet style breakfast it would have been great also. Overall, I am going to give this hotel chain a 4 STAR considering the location it was in.
