A nice and historic hotel. Lot of places you can take fantastic pictures. Good service as well.

Overall, very nice, however, house keeping should keep up. On the first night when I closed the door for shower, there were clothes from previous guest hanging behind the door. Second night, there was a cleaning towel and a used towel beside the washing basin.

Rooms were lovely and clean, good facilities. Excellent breakfast buffet. Dogs well catered for!

We had a lovely time staff very helpful . Beautful

The bedroom was dusty and dirty. Shower on his last legs. The maids never refilled coffee milk etc. The way the beds were made was just thrown back on. The food in the restaurant was at a lower standard. To be honest, absolutely terrible. This place needs a revamp and improve standards.

This place is a treasure. Look forward to coming back! Diolch

Sensational building and grounds - Good food, very comfortable bed Pleasant helpful staff

A wonder castle with lots of history, beautiful gardens and wildlife. The peacocks and bunnies took over the grounds every evening and made it that much more special.

Room very basic not as advertised . over grown with ivy out side, coffee cup dirty , bathroom was near the toilet so everything so wet ( wet room)

Yet another fantastic stay at the castle. Room clean, warm and spacious, staff friendly. Beautiful grounds.

A lovely hotel with great staff. Rooms are a little tired, however, that is part of the charm

Windows in the room were rotten through and mouldy. The plug hole of the bath clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while and I don’t think the room could have been decorated in 30 years. Although the hotel and grounds are beautiful the upkeep and cleanliness of the inside left a lot to be desired.

A lovely stay, great location. Rooms just need a bit of tlc.

Stayed over so we could visit Lavinia the room was nice and the setting is really nice

Me and my hushad an amazing weekend for our 1st anniversary, food was excellent location was fantastic. Hottub in the forrest was an experience, although the Sauna was a little too small, not much value for money we paid on the twilight package we picked. Next time we would just book the hottub. Peacocks roaming around the grounds feeding out of your hands was something else. I would highly recommend a stay at Ruthin Castle.

As usual a brilliant stay at the Castle. Rooms always clean, staff always friendly, hope to be back next month. Peacocks are amazing!

Alles in die Jahre gekommen, dringendster Sanierungsbedarf in allen Bereichen. Frühstück unterste Qualitätsstufe, Spa unterirdisch und das ganze riecht modrig. Positiv ist die Umgebung zu bewerten.
