Very spacious well appointed room. Bathroom excellent and again spacious Huge bed and very comfy Staff very friendly and helpful Views from room 202 wonderful (dual aspect). Breakfast superb Evening meals superb Fowey is a lovely port and access from the hotel was a short walk and mostly along flat. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had a three night stay with my wife for her birthday. Wonderful hotel with the best views anywhere. Staff very pleasant and helpful breakfast included is continental which we found more than adequate. We had dinner there on two of the nights añd enjoyed what we had although the menu is slightly limited for more frequent dining. Overall we had a beautiful stay

Lovely hotel.

Bonnie on the front desk was outstanding. Beautiful hotel exceptional friendly staff . Breakfast was really good . Could not fault the place . ( they even had water guns to get rid of the seagulls our favourite personal touch).

We had a really nice room with a view of the estuary. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but we ate dinner at the hotel on the first night and the main course was poor quality. There is no lounge, just a couple of settees in the bar area. There are 2 nice lawn areas to sit out but only with chairs and tables. It would have been nice if they had provided cushions and parasols as the weather was hot.

The car parking was not ideal but worked well. Staff and food were both good.

Our car space was ready for us upon arrival. The room exceeded expectations, was fabulous. We opted for the continental breakfast, which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel has the most amazing view. It sits high above the sea so when you want to go to town there are quite a few steps to go down but the parking is on the same level as the reception. You must book parking ahead. My only complaint is there is no air conditioning so the lounge and restaurant gets warm on hot days. Our room was downstairs so was quite cool and there is a fan you can use which we did. Overall we had a wonderful time at the hotel and in Fowey.

Awesome service with an excellent breakfast. The service team was top shelf and the managers assistance in overcoming a couple small hurdles was without equal.

This was our first stay at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The views are spectacular and our room was very nice. We had a superior sea view room and it was very clean with good facilities. The food was excellent and we chose to eat in the restaurant both days. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous views.

The hotel is in a superb location overlooking the harbour. The staff were helpful and courteous and the breakfast excellent. It was a shame that there was scaffolding up so it impaired the views. Also, we could not take advantage of our balcony. Would recommend.

Great stay

Scaffolding surrounded the building throughout our stay, which significantly obstructed the view. In addition, the lift was repeatedly out of service, causing considerable inconvenience. The room itself felt dated and was not of the standard we expected for the price paid. There were visible stains on both the floor and the chairs, which negatively impacted the overall cleanliness and comfort of the stay. We were also required to move rooms because the window in our original room had recently been painted shut, making it impossible to open. This presented a clear health and safety concern. Unfortunately, the replacement room appeared to be of a lower standard, with a much smaller window and an overall downgrade in quality. Given these issues, we do not feel the stay represented good value for money and would therefore like to request a refund or appropriate compensation for the experience.

Lovely food excellent staff will return again

Great hotel and a very central location. Staff were lovely, rooms were fab, and the roof terrace bar was fantastic to retire to for pre-dinner drinks. We were certainly able to give our friend an 80th birthday ‘event’ to remember!

Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Parking was well organised. Breakfast was well catered for. Room was very nice, a good size and nicely decorated with a big bathroom. Good location and easy to walk to town etc. so didn't need the car once we arrived. No mention on booking of the work going on at the hotel, which would be good to have known.

Continental breakfast buffet with a good selection plus a good choice of cooked dishes. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Both bar and restaurant are in a beautiful situation and food in the restaurant is lovely. Fully recommend staying and eating here.

Scaffolding surrounded the property so the terrace was out of use. Our room was comfortable but not very clean, marks on bedding, dirty wardrobe doors and a very dirty radiator. Staff were very friendly Breakfast was delicious, lovely continental selection.
