The rooms were a bit tired and needed some general maintenance. Zakia on reception was excellent and always willing to go beyond to help and be friendly.

On arrival staff were very welcoming & helpful - first impressions were favourable nice main reception area - rooms fairly big & plenty of storage & clean - however facilities very dated - extremely poor shower, carpet warn, breakfast, continental poor not much choice, drink machines poor, English breakfast average

Hotel room and hotel itself was clean and welcoming. Facilities are great and all staff were polite and very attentive.

Really enjoyable stay although wasnt expecting London prices in the bar. It was a really enjoyable stay the breakfast was kept well stocked and being able to use the pool made it even more enjoyable for the children. Highlyre

I actually enjoyed my stay here♡ Staff were lovely, very welcoming, helpful and kind. The hotel IS a little tired, but its ok. Could do with an update, but i ve stayed in worse places. The staff made up for what the decor lacked. Swimming pool was a nice bonus

Excellent stay. The only suggestion I would make is there needs to be dog waste bins outside, especially with it being a dog friendly hotel. Otherwise, everything was brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. Will definitely be staying again.

Rooms were quite big, but very dated. Bathroom was clean but mold on the silicone. Plush towels. The spa pool was nice but all the other areas such as the shower, changing areas etc were quite disgusting. The lift floors had carpet which were nasty; and clumps of hair in one lift that was there for hours. Ample car parking. The staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was decent, small choices eg one type of cheese, 2 types of mini pastries, cooked breakfast was good, standard small breakfast but good. All in all, did the job for a one night stay on the way back from Alton Towers. For £60 I can’t complain except for a couple of grubby things mentioned in the review; just don’t expect much of the spa!

My stay was nice I arrived at 8pm but wasn’t allowed entry to spa facilities even though it closes at 9pm apparently last entry is 8pm even though it doesn’t state that on website, Rooms was nice but this was a unpleasant damp smell in there think it was from the bathroom but lingering all through the room other than that had a lovely stay

Excellent hotel with friendly staff

Check in time 15:00. Got to the location earlier than planned. Around 14:00. Asked if we could check in early, uninterested staff and unhelpful. Was willing to pay to check in early. No option given just repeatedly told room isn't ready. Checked in at 15:00.To say the room was disappointing is an understatement. Booked a suite, just looked like a standard family room. Outdated, carpet is a safety hazard big bump in the middle that moves as you walk around. Stains on the carpet, stains on the sofa. Damp stains on the ceiling and walls. Bathroom wasn't much better, as soon as you open the door mouldy dampy smell. After the whole check in expedition, the staff and the room itself, i didn't even want to go to reception to request another room. I highly doubt any other room would've been better. Booked in for 2 nights, 1st night we ended up going and staying with family for the night as we didn't want to spend the night in the hotel. Came back in the morning and spent the day there and checked out in the evening. Trip had to be cut short. Waste of money.

Overall the staff were accommodating and friendly. We also had a lovely meal at the hotel and breakfast was also good. It would have been great to have a usb port on the plugs - suggest an update for future reference.

Very good, but I would like a few things modernized, fresh paint, etc. Especially in the spa the area doesn't seem as well looked after.

Entrance was lovely. Greeted with a friendly receptionist and the kids got a gift at reception. Room was an executive room on the top floor. Was expecting higher quality. Room smelt heavily of damp, carpet had a big lump in it that was a bit of a trip hazard, and the room generally needed a bit of TLC, as did all the communal areas of the hotel. Wallpaper and paint peeling, carpets worn. Swimming pool was nice but again needed a bit of TLC and was quite a cold temperature. All staff however were lovely and friendly and polite and the beds were very comfy and the room was lovely and spacious. Just all needs an update!

Everything we needed was included in the price—breakfast and access to the swimming pool—which was a real plus. However, the family room, and indeed the hotel as a whole, felt rather tired and in need of an update. The breakfast itself was excellent, but the dining area would benefit greatly from new carpet and furniture. That said, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.

The staff was very professional & pleasant bent over backwards to help but couldn't help when i wanted to open my balcony door as it was out of there hands.

Absolutely loved this stay and will definitely be back.
